Two from "Deliverance" ....

Duelling Banjos ...

The 'squeal like a pig' scene. It still disturbs me ...

Post more!

The ending to Schindler's List ... I was already a complete mess by the end of the movie, then Spielberg had to finish me off with that present-day tribute by the Schindler survivors ....

From Cabaret:

The "Screw Maximillian!" scene ...

Zorba's dance from Zorba the Greek ...

Kissing scene between Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster, From Here to Eternity ...

So many memorable scenes from one of my favourite movies, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. Here are a few of them ....

McMurphy pretending to watch the World Series ....

Basketball game ...

The famous nude wrestling scene between Alan Bates and Oliver Reed in Ken Russell's Women in Love. I was a naive 16 year old when I first watched this movie, and this scene completely blew me away! Not sure how long it'll last on Youtube, given the full frontal nudity in it. Shame about the dubbing in Russian. The only English version I could find has been removed.

I'm too lazy to go look it up on Youtube, but the final scene in Phidelphia, when Joe gets the call that Andy died. As soon as that phone rings, and the music starts, I just loose it..EVERY TIME! I've scene that movie like 10 times now, and it does it to me every time

For me, ther would be a couple of scenes in Milk.
First being where Milk(Sean Penn) and his ex Scott(James Franco) are talking on the phone the day he is killed, and the other would be at the end of the movie, where Scott and the campaign manager walk out of city hall and see the peaceful march coming from the Castro going to honor their fallen hero.

From A Streetcar Named Desire

From The Shining. "Here's Johnny!!" ...

From Blazing Saddles. The baked beans scene ...

From Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?.

"But you are, Blanche! You are still in that chair!" ...

"Oh Blanche, ya know we got rats in the cellar?"

Jane assaults Blanche ...

From Psycho (1960) ...

It's a fact that some of the funniest/most freakish scenes in cinema history
are contained in overall more dramatic to tragic films.

Like one unforgettable moment with Robert Duvall in 'The Great Santini' (1979).
He plays an ultra-tough Marine Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Bull Meechum...

They showed this on the CBC Windsor station the day of JFK's funeral. I was home sick from the second grade that day and when they started broadcasting coverage of the funeral right after the final scene, I was really annoyed that they had cut off the end of the movie because I knew that wasn't the way a love story was supposed to end. That's why I remember it.
