The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for: Central Dakota County in east central Minnesota.
Until 9:15 pm CDT.
At 8:39 pm CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over South St Paul Airport, or near St. Paul, moving Southeast at 35 mph. Hazard, ping pong ball size hail. Source, trained Weather spotters. Impact: people and animals Outdoors will be injured. Expect damage to roofs, siding, windows and vehicles.
This severe thunderstorm will be near. Apple Valley, Cottage Grove and Inver Grove Heights around 8:45 pm CDT. Rosemount around 8:50 pm CDT. Farmington around 9:00 pm CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Sunfish Lake, South St Paul Airport, Coates, Fort Snelling State Park. Sunfish, Mendota and Vermillion. Hail, 1.50IN Wind, <50MPH.
