Is this a Canadian show?

Kissyfur

Downright irritating. Whoever heard of a gator named Floyd?
I do admit to jacking off to Kissyfurs dad. !oops!

The Get Along Gang

Why? Read tv tropes.

Mostly the terrible conformism. And why do friends in animated shows from the eighties always have to have a 'leader'?

What animated kids shows did you hate?

SpongeBob Squarepants is at the top of my list. Even during it's heyday when the writing hadn't taken a turn for the worst into mindless commercialization territory, I found this show to be obnoxiously crude (animation wise) and annoying (character wise). And it seems every cartoon that followed has adapted to that same lazy motif.

It took me a while to catch on to Spongebob, but the show does have a few brilliant episodes and I adored the live-action sequences the first dozen times.
I don't really hate the other new series because I rarely even watch them.

I do hate Wings.

Another pet peeve is Pokemon. It is a really really inane show.

Spongebob sqaurepants it annoys the hell out of me, i had to endure it for a short while , while staying with friends & the simpsons & south park

I pretty much like all the Toons from the 80's well into the 90's...I just don't get the New Generations love affair with "Sponge Bob"...I mean, a "talking" sponge and "talking" Mashed-potatoes...

Cartoons today are on the level of absurdity...

None really. The cartoons I had growing up (Rugrats, Doug, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy) were awesome. They didn't dumb down the material, storylines and jokes just b/c they were targeting kids.

Now the cartoons airing today that I hate... Ooh lord, I can go on from now 'til Christmas.

Man you described my cartoon lineup right there. Those shows were amazing.

And Honestly I think there are some good Cartoons showing today(other than spongebob).

I loathe Tweety bird. I don't know why so many people loved that little shit but it was wholly unfair that Sylverster was continually made out to be a villain. So what if he wanted to eat Tweety?!? He was a cat! Bithc bird shouldn't have been such a tease.

I co-sign this, buddy.

Also, I hated that one road runner, how I wished that coyote would have gotten him one day.

I can't say as I hated any. Just didn't watch them because I didn't like them. The 80s was a pretty lousy time for animated series, what with the toy commercials masquerading as entertainment. But the worst of the bad lot may have been Beverly Hills Teens, which probably could be used to recruit anti-American terrorists...and had even worse animation than normal.

You've been warned.

Oh.. The irony of forever failing at diligently restudied mathematics while being able to remember all the cartoon theme songs and voice acting from the eighties by ear.

Wasn't there also a horrible cartoon with John Candy?

Did u know that Spongebob killed off Rugrats? Rugrats before spongebob come in was nicktoon's hightest rating show.

You hate the racoons? You HATE the Racoons? Do you also hate innocence and childhood aswell

Seriously I loved that show as a kid. The theme tune itself brings back such happy memories of simplier times. It also had a kick ass ending credits song: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLVe1NkQA78&feature=PlayList&p=D935970BCB5BBBAB&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=24[/ame]

Personally i hated Conan the barbarian, He-Man and a cartoon called Valiant something. I can't remember. It was set in medevil England. All I remembe is it made being in a time where you use swords look boring.

Maybe it was the talking animals? Few shows could pull those off. Or maybe the gratuitous go at capitalism?

At the time I liked Valiant, but given the intellectual property the show was derived from it's hardly surprizing the show was slow-paced by nineteen-ninetees standards.

God, I can't even watch Cartoon Network now. Almost nothing on there is to my taste anymore. It's either new stuff that's nothing I've never seen before, or random crap that makes no sense. I liked cartoons back when quality mattered.

The bastards got rid of Teen Titans, Jonny Quest (new AND old), Batman and Superman, and Looney Toons. What else should I care about? They don't even show the dubbed, chopped up versions of my favorite anime (which I only watch on DVD anyway).

One of my most hated? Squidbillies. Utterly useless!

Fairly Odd Parents
Mighty B
Adventures of Manny Something
Danny Phantom (Although I've always liked the character design for him.)

I don't think there's anything on Cartoon Network that's on during the day that I watch.

Any thing on cartoon network, with the exception of Star Wars Clone Wars. It went south after Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, Dexters Lab, Power Puff Girls and Samurai Jack went off the air. Now all they seem to have are these weird creepy shows like Chowder and that flapjack show with the creepy kid and the thing that looks like captain cave man. Now captain cave man....that was a cool show!(Yes i am 35 and still watch cartoons, or I should say animation)

definately hated the raccoons. totally useless, bad voices, horrible settings. way to try to pump up the ecological messages into kids brains.
