Most hated cartoons & why

>>>The irony of forever failing at diligently restudied mathematics while being able to remember all the cartoon theme songs and voice acting from the eighties by ear.

I actually remember all the pop songs from the 80s by ear. The cartoons I actually have to look up. (I had to Google Beverly Hills Teens, since I had the name wrong originally.) And voice talents I'm horrible at. I never know (or knew) who did what. I did know that in America, it usually fell to one of ten people to voice EVERYTHING. My personal favorite is the original English dub of the anime film Akira, where Kaneda is voiced by the same guy who did Leonardo, the ninja turtle. And he used precisely the same voice. :)

Speaking of TMNT, it may have been the laziest of all voiced cartoons. Whenever one of the regular actors wasn't available, they had this one guy come in to fill in. During the course of the series, he did the voice for all four turtles...using precisely the same voice. It was almost like each of them caught some sort of sore throat bug that gave them this weird pinched voice for one episode. :)

I always hated Ren & Stimpy [cue backlash]

I just never really got the humour or the writing, which teamed with the bad graphics made my head hurt.

I don´t know who these people are either, and I never bothered looking them up, but I remember the voices, and recognize them in the odd cartoon from the eighties that wasn´t aired here.

(For instance, I´ve never seen Sectaurs when I was little).

Southpark

Because you're all supporting two straight white males who invented it and make lots of money with it.

Basically anything on Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network in this day and age.

It just seems hat most cartoons today are pointless and make no sense.

I have a special hate in my heart for the new Johnny Quest. I mean, i wasn't that into the original series, but the new one made me angry.

The intro was nice though.

GASP!!! I used to love that show! I wish it would play again somewhere, or they'd release them on dvd. It wasn't really that long-running.

And did anyone who watched this show notice that there were animation clips in the opening that never appeared on ANY episode? I wonder where those reels are...

I LOVED that show. That was one of the Best cartoons of the 90's IMO.

And yes I did noticed that some of the scenes in the intro were never aired in any of the episodes.

I hate the way in which the otherwise utterly traditional animation show had the cheap cgi tacked on.

In the Dutch voice dubbing, Johnny's voice is too obviously a woman.

Oh so basically you didn't like Questworld? Personally I always liked when they went into Questworld but I guess not everyone did.

My vote is so for The Racoons. I have no idea why, but every time that show came on as a kid it depressed the hell out of me. And my parents always made me watch it because it was "good Canadian content."
