Great to have you back so soon. It's only been a week and not the 2 to 3 you expected.
 
The problem of difficult downloads with many blogs is quite simple: the blog pages are too long and therefor too heavy so someone even with DSL can be slowed down at times. The solution is even simpler: break the long pages into shorter ones with a 'previous' link at bottom to another short page. Instead of ahving one blog page per month, create as many as you need with fewer images per page. http://www.justusboys.com/forum/images/smilies/banana.gif
