Ok, So yesterday i started listening to Roxy Music, And Im am in Fucking Love With them!!!! I had never heard of them, but when i heard "More Than This" on the radio yesterday i had to buy their greatest hits, and I love Almost every song on the disc, Dance Away, Avalon, Slave to Love, Over You, are some of my favorites, anyone else just love this Band???
 
Roxy Music is one of my faves as well. They are obviously English, and started out in the early 70's as a very progressive art rock band. The greatest hits has most of the best stuff, although there are a few different best of cd's with different songs. "More Than This" is what i think is their best song, it's just perfect in every respect. It's a great song for driving on a hot sunny day with the top down, or making love. Bryan Ferry, the singer, has been putting out interesting solo ablbums for years as well. Aside from "Love Is The Drug" in 1975, Roxy Music never really made it as big in the US as they did in other countries.

"More Than This" is THE SHIT!!! 1st time i heard it was on Grand Theft: Vice City(that soundtrack is AWESOME), now i listen to it almost everydat on rhapsody
 
Remember them from my teens.Virginia Plain was one of the first records I ever bought although Love is the drug is my favourite Roxy Music song.Still turn up the radio when it comes on
 
Making me very happy today.

I prefer the early period when Eno was around but later singles like "More Than This" are undeniably ace.

First two albums are pop-perfection.
