Dunno.

But we now know who's gonna get an Oscar.

It looks nothing like her but then that has never worried a US TV movie before. Look at the original Royal Wedding movie.

Naomi what? Naomi who?

Never heard of her.

Still not really any the wiser.

But I expect that pretty much any blonde-haired actress (whether, real or dyed) could probably do a decent enough impression of Saint Diana the Parasitic to entertain the yanks and other foreigners via some sort of filmic format.

Oh, loved Naomi Watts in The Ring movies, The Painted Veil

The Movie DIANA w/Naomi Watts

Who in the UK has seen it?

It won't be released in US until November.

The British critics have savaged it.

The advertising gaffe is another sign that “Diana” faces an uphill battle at the American box office. Reviews from England have been merciless, ranging from “flamboyantly atrocious” to “a special class of awful.” The film is scheduled for a Nov. 1 U.S. release.

The advertising gaffe is the placement of a 4'x6' poster, featuring Watts as Diana, near the entrance to the tunnel where Diana was mortally injured. Reports are the poster has been removed.

Re: The Movie DIANA w/Naomi Watts

Despite being a huge fan of Naomi Watts, I am doubtful that it will approach anywhere near the greatness of The Queen or The King's Speech.
