New X-men Series on G4

I know a lot of people here are X-men fans so I thought I'd mention it. It looks very anime and might be a slightly older anime that was only recently dubbed. Not sure if I like the animation. In typical anime form it is super slow and melodramatic with very little promise.

Unfortunately it's another installment that gets rid of Jean (my favorite) early on leaving the core team so far: Professor x, Storm, Beast, CYclops, and Wolverine ( of course). Is it possible to do anything X-men and not include wolverine for once?

It's on G4 which I guess is like a video game theme channel. I think most people should have it.
 
I wont watch it if it doesnt have my favorite character STORM
 
Contrary to what I said on my last post, I've actually watched 8 of the 12 episoded online and I really like the show.

Here's my review (no spoilers don't worry):

The Good:

-The over dramatic anime style really does suit the X-Men. The stories seem darker now which is awesome.

-I really like the design of the characters, they didn't lose their essence, but have an anime twist.

-The animation and the music are great.

The Bad

Now, having seen a lot of anime in my life and knowing that manga is very popular between girls, I expected the producers to give the women a better treatment. I was wrong:

-First of all, all of them look like they god double Ds. Not a bad thing by itself but when the camera is focusing on Storm's boobs and Emma's cleavage instead of what they're saying, then there's something wrong.

-The female costumes look like they're painted on. At some point Emma is in a bed and they actually drew the line tha divides her labia in her crotch.

-Storm's powers: She's supposed to be almost a goddess and she can control the weather, yet all I've seen so far is she throwing a couple of lighting bolts and getting tired really fast. Seriously??? Storm can make hurricanes, blizzards, tornados by just imagining them!!

-Armor: That little bitch is so annoying. She keeps crying and whinning all the time. And all she does is repeating the names of people after they say something.

I may have listed more things in "The Bad" section but they're all about the same thing. I enjoy the show anyways, would enjoy it a lot more if Rogue was in it.
 
where can i watch these?! freakin direct tv dropped g4!!!! ugh
 
I hate anime, but I actually didn't mind the first episode. I didn't like the voice of Storm though. She sounds too valley girl and not as regal as a goddess.
 
I didn't really like the Wolverine one but really did enjoy the first episode of the X-men anime. I don't care for Jean that much I don't know why everyone on this site is so crazy about her. I hate Cyclop's character design for this but I can live with it. Storm's supposed to be younger in this so her voice should sound younger but it doesn't seem like the right voice still. I guess it fits her character design for this adaption but not the Storm voice we're used to.
 
^Must be an Emma Frost fan. People who don't like Jean usually like Emma and her unnecessarily slutty and impractical outfits. lol

Actually no I don't understand all the Emma love too. And yeah it seems like everyone here is either I LOVE JEAN!!!!!!!!! or I LOVE EMMA!!!!!!!! If we're talking best female mutant I prefer all the other main female mutants over these two.
 
You like Psylocke? I think she's pretty cool. And I actually have a soft spot for Jubilee.

Lol I don't hate Jean...BUT I do like Emma a lot more haha. But Storm's my favorite X-Woman hands down since I first saw a powerful smart leading woman of color in the old 90s cartoon.

I like both of them, Rogue, Mystique and Storm better than Jean and Emma. Not sure about Kitty. Am I missing any main ones?
