Detroit would work for me. I know a bar there that I like- the Eagle. Any of you ever been? It's sometimes a leather bar (depends on the night) but it's very low key.

I've always heard good things about the Starving Artist Restaurant in Ferndale but I've never been. How many are we talking here? Do we need a place where we can reserve a room, or just a table?

I was wondering how everyone feels about two weekends from now: the 11th or 12th? It's far enough away that we can all make arrangements, but not too close to any holidays or anything.
