If we force all the criminals, welfare dependents and their boyfriends, retarded people, homeless on park benches, beggars, prisoners, foreigners, etc. to vote, they would overwhelmingly vote for socialism/communism and confiscatory taxes as envisioned by Obama. And yes, the supporters of freedom, democracy and free enterprise would will have little chance nationally.

Work colleagues of mine who refuse to vote are better informed than many I know when discussing politics.

Anyone like my barber who goes on about what should be happening (He is 55) then told me he has never voted in his life I told him to shut up you don't vote you have no say. So I do not know who you could possibly know that has a brain. We may not always have great choices when voting but either choose one or the other or move! Not only should we have mandatory voting as is done in Iceland, Switzerland an 14 democracies if you do not vote you should be fined heavily.

Not all criminals have been convicted and many states allow convicts to vote. Some foreigners have become citizens and tend to vote democrat, for confiscatory taxes on Americans and freebies/socialism for immigrants.NYC is proposing to allow illegals to vote in city elections, so that will soon be part of the democrat agenda.

^ Alright, so some states do allow convicted felons to vote, my mistake. Minnesota allows them vote after they have completed incarceration/parole as well as any probation.

As I said in an earlier post I'm not particularly keen on forcing folks to vote. But I think everyone legally eligible to vote, should vote of their own accord. Do you have any evidence that it was the small group of convicted felons who completed their sentence/probation and voted who gave Al Franken the edge? How do you know the vote came from that group? It will be interesting to see proof of that statistic.
