That's remarkable, how everyone else from that era has gone, but virtually the only two still alive and with us today, turn out to be sisters. I never actually knew they were sisters.

I was browsing around online some of the Oscar-winning actors and actresses of the classic era.
I mean talk about longevity they were both being nominated in turn for Academy Awards in 1939 and 1940 like over 70 years ago!

Joan won for Suspicion (1941) and Olivia won for To Each His Own (1946) and The Heiress (1949) but their earlier nominations were for consecutive Best Picture winners Gone With the Wind (1939) and Rebecca (1940) respectively.
Oh, and as a kind of addendum....
Olivia has aged into a sort of classy grandmother type....
....while Joan may have become a bit loopy.
