Oscar categories they should ax

I watched it and I enjoyed it this year, especially after last years train wreck hosting problems. Many categories should be cut out. Just tighten it to a two hour show and give the categories that most people want to see. Give the other categories their awards at a dinner on another night.
 
It amazes me that they give out ?18 awards in 3.5 hours, and yet the winners get exactly 30, 60 or 90 seconds to speak.

Even at 2 minutes/category, you'd only get 36 minutes of thanks and still 3 hours to fanny about with the usual sordid backslapping/nostalgia, and somehow still people get drowned out from speaking. How often is someone going to win an Oscar that they aren't allowed to spend some time saying thanks? Ricockulous.

^Well, look at the list of SFX guys on any big blockbuster. 1-4 guys get the Oscar/s; they have crews of 300, all of whom played roles in the process. Why shouldn't they be allowed to thank as many people as necessary?
