They usually make more money as escorts and from paid appearances (at clubs) than from their movies.

Escorting is very common among porn performers.

You often hear that many porn stars escort and that the rationale for it is: if you do it for cash before cameras, you can do it for cash without them.

Yet, everyone makes his own call.

In my experience, it's a lot more common for escorts to make porn movies to promote themselves than it is for porn stars to escort.

yeah, it's kinda splitting hairs but really.. most of the porn stars I know don't escort and would be kinda pissed at people who'd assume they would.
