Okay, I don't usually do this... 'cause I'm a super private person (and paranoid!) but I figured "Dude, whatever!"

Either way, if you're anything like me (into 50+ year olds only), you'll think I'm gross. This is the bear/daddy forum and I'm neither. By a long shot. BUT... dear god, I don't consider myself a twink. Hey, at least I'm tall! (6'3) So... yeah.

Also, I look somewhat effeminate in the picture. Which I am not. At all.

Oh Sweetcamaro, don’t be too hard on yourself. You look fine, from as much as I can see of you in your discreet photo. Since you are in the “Bears, Daddies, Chasers, etc.” forum, I “think” that you fall into the “chasers” category (based on your photo). Yet with you liking guys 50+, I think that “bears” and “daddies” can be any age really, I think it just depends on personal definition. I have seen guys less than 50, that I would consider to be a “daddy” and I have seen guys over “50" that I would consider to be a "cub". Yet the bottom line Sweetcamaro, I am sure that you will find something to tickle your pickle in this forum. Now with that being said, based on some of your past postings, it sounds like you are not really into "bears" or "cubs", you are more into "mature" men between 50 - 70? I know that you are Alec Baldwin's #1 fan, but I would not consider him a "daddy" (by gay standards), but he does fit in your your desired age category (50+).

I agree 100% - for me, 'daddy' is a state of mind, rather than an age thing. It's about confidence, knowing what you want, having strength (physical, mental and emotional) but also knowing how/when to be gentle and having an 'alpha'-type personality. I just use it as a term of affection, rather than conforming to some porn/sub-culture 'capital-D-Daddy' stereotype.

And it also works in reverse too - I'm 33 but I consider myself a 'boy' because I'm quite shy and need to be babied sometimes. I think that I will always be a 'boy', even when I'm in a nursing home, LOL!

Seeing that you live in Australia, I have an OFF TOPIC question for you. In regards to the Aborigines that live there, do they live in villages and places on their own or do some of them live in the cites and just function as everyone else. Do you think the Aborigines are treated any different that the rest of the citizens of Australia . . . i.e. are they perceived differently than non-whites or are they compared to blacks, Asian, Latin, etc. people who also live in Australia? :confused: I am sorry to pop-in for a quick history lesson, however I belong to another online group, and we were talking about how some races/classes of people are perceived in other countries. Yet we don’t have anyone in the group that represents Australia . . . so I hope that you don’t mind me making you The Gay Australian Ambassador Of The Day. :=D:;)
