Pride Month 2024

I'll be out of the country for pretty much all of June, so I'll be missing Fagstaff Pride. Brussels already had its Pride festival, and Vichy (where I'll be spending most of the month) is too small to have one. It looks like Lyon just does a parade, so I'll probably skip that. Madrid and Barcelona Pride will both happen after I return to the US, so I guess I just won't be proud this year.

Yesterday was Pride in the CLE in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

The weather was ideal. The parade lasted over an hour, with groups of all kinds.

The festival was packed with people.

Salem's first pride of the year is a block party next Saturday. I have been asked to take pictures so will try to be there all day. Salem's second pride has been moved to September as too many complained it was too hot to enjoy in August. Last years I lasted an hour at that one.

Should be interesting. I am already hearing bitching from the usuals about prides.
