Project Runway, Season 9

Jeez I wanted to beat the sense of Oliver. You do men's wear? I never really like anything he sent down. It was always the same old color wheel. Tan, off-white, cream.

I don't know what the judges were smoking when they said they liked Bert's lead singer outfit. I thought he looked like a big Barney.

^yes...too much purple. I do like the striped pants that Bert did, but the top pieces were a miss. Those pants were probably the best pants of the group.

Madam Glambert said they were "too literal"...please. All the other 60's & 70's costumes and bell bottoms on the runway and those striped straight leg pants were "too literal"?!

Bert didn't deserve the win anyway...3rd was good for what he produced. I was glad Viktor won...his was the best of all the crap presented.

^^Bert came in 2nd. Whomever they dismiss right after the winner is the runner-up.

So glad Oliver is gone - his client(blanking on the mans' name) looked as pissed as I was that he was dressing him.

And Lambert... laughed at EVERYTHING. News flash hunny, we've seen some of your stage outfits - you're not too far up on the mountain top to not be brought down.

I dunno... I thought all the outfits this week were pretty lame. None of them exactly screamed "rock n roll". Especially with Adam Lambert there, you'd think they could have pumped up the volume a little.

In fact I think this is a pretty weak season overall. Usually they manage to get at least one designer who has a bold, original style. They don't always win, but they make it more fun to watch. The contestants this year are mostly just -- bland.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I might agree with the choice of him to be auf'd... but I didn't want him to go. :(

And once again, Josh M. opened his mouth and made me despise him even more. Shoulda been your ass that was going home you pretentious boob.

Phillyurban8: I would love to see a season where half of the challenges are men's wear. They could have two sets of models: male and female.

It was time for Ryan to go. I knew he would eventually leave when he made those horrible camel toe, baggy butted shorts a few weeks back.

I can't argue with that. I still like him, but he was DAMN, DAMN lucky to have made it this far.

I was surprised to see Josh M. stumble. How could he use the lame excuse of not being born in the 70s as a reason for his weak outfits? Acutally I didn't think they were THAT bad. Didn't Mondo create a similar plaid pant last year???

I'm sure he did - but i'm also sure he didn't style it with a hot pink and black disco bowling queen long-sleeved top.

and what about the Animal skin shoes and belt!??!!!

That top was the worst!!! Anthony Ryan's $50 dress was passable but Josh was a complete failure! He does make good drama for viewing..........................

^The pink must have blinded me to the other parts of that particular outfit.

Anya is clearly the one to beat. Stunning outfit.

I was impressed by Josh for the first time, although I could have done without the "corsage." That he realized how awful his first look was amazed me.

Victor's dress certainly wasn't fashion forward. It can be seen in any number of 1930s movies. Feathers were big then.

Kimberly just copied Victor, but the draping wad very nice.

Laura's outfit looked like a Halloween costume.

Poor Burt. I liked him, but his design style is still in the 70s and he can never seem to fully realize his original concepts.
