I used to watch that show all the time, only I had to stay up till 3:30am to watch it, and on a school night it gets a bit tiresome.

I remember the football player and Emmet together though, that was pretty hot. I also remember an episode with a gun and the blonde guy... They go down a side alley and start playing with the gun and each other. That was really hot!

I still prefer the UK Version. The US Version IMHO tries too hard and went on for far too long.

i heard about the show a while back, but never had chance to watch it. well last night, or persay this morning. it was on the logo network. i finally watched it and liked it. it was an entertaining eppie. i have no idea who's who or what season they are in, but it was good to watch. i know there was one guy who had cancer, but did'nt want to tell his friends, another guy who was dating a football player on the DL, who's wife asked him to plan their wedding. the guy was so in the closet, he did'nt want to lose his wife, his fame, fans or reputation. there was this couple who had a son, who was HIV positive(he got it from male prostitution) he ended up sleeping with his girlfiriend. the parents found out and dissapproved of their relationshop. there was a lesbian couple who were at odds because one of the chicks was either sleeping with or still thinking about men. i can't wait until tonight to see more of it :gogirl:

Go to If you want to see the American version, go to showcase.com/queer, they add an episode a week.

A lot of people said it went downhill during the third season, but I actually started liking it more then.

I think the Stockwell storyline threw people off.

I think it got darker and more serious in the 3rd season. They started dealing with more "real" issues, gay-bashing, death, drugs, etc. The first two seasons, especially the first, seemed more light-hearted and more fluff.

I also feel that around season 3 the series became more dark and real, however, I could handle the problems surrounding the guys but what I could not stand was the cheating and the issues with the two girls (cant remember their names now melanie I believe) I wish their problems were not dragged out as long as they were. I loved the Stockwell S/l and the football player s/l.

I loved it, and I miss it. I'm going to buy the entire series soon....

I caught a couple of the UK episodes of it way back when I was a youngun when i was up late. Sorta forgot about it until last year when i started streaming the US version - didnt get to see all of it, but im planning to get it on DVD soon~

"I'm going to buy the entire series soon...."

That was probably the best Gay-themed show in recent years. Very good actors and they played off each other very well.

the "Rimming" scene caused a lot of Media-Hype...

The US version of QAF really didn't work that well. It dragged on way too long: remember, the original was an 8-episode miniseries and a 90-minute special. No more.
