On the Chet being gay deal...
I went to a school with a good deal of mormons and what my understanding is that if a Mormon boy admits to being gay, he's pretty much "kicked out of the mormon circle" or whatever.
At least that's what my friends told me.

Even the way his mother was scolding him on wearing eyeliner, could you imagine how she'd react if she found out he liked cock?

Maybe he's just curious and naive from being sheltered and kept in this bubble where anything sexual was taboo... or maybe he is actually gay.

Chet's family seemed pretty cool from the little we've seen. Maybe Chet's the only one who's like that if he's in the closet. He is good entertainment though. The only thing that made me really not like him so far was the sin thing he said in that song.

This is the gayest season so far in the series. JD, Caitlyn, Sarah, Chet(?), that's half the cast. Both episodes so far have had big gay storylines. It's also the most diverse season (Gay, Bi, Transgender, Mormon, Latino, Black, a guy from the army......)

That kiss with Ryan and the drag queen was so funny. I would've been pissed myself if I were in his situation but Ryan could be a dick sometimes which made it even more funnier.

That JD incident reminded me a lot of Trisha and the McDonalds worker. It's a little easier to forgive JD though since Trisha was already a bitch before it happened, JD's parents are imigrants and he was wasted. Still it was a stupid thing to say.
 
^^ JD's parents being immigrants does not entitle him a free pass to make fun of someone who did not understand him. My mom was an immigrant and I don't feel like that gives me a right to poke fun of others who don't fully comprehend the English language. JD came across very ignorant and I gained a lot of respect for Chet for defending the cashier.

On a lighter note, the whole Chet family scene was cute. I may be one of few (if any) but I like Chet.

I didn't give him a free pass, I said he was stupid for what he said and I compared it to Trisha who I hated.

I'm thinking this is going to be the least "slutty" season. I don't see very many hookups occuring in the brooklyn house.
Maybe Scott will hook up with Devyn or bring home a chick, but other than that.... like a fuckin monestary.
 
Chet seemed like he was just taking up for the immigrant lady just to be sanctimonious and feel superior.

He complains that the roommates pre-judged him about being from a Fraternity, and then he constantly pulls the exact lame shit that makes people hate Frat guys in the first place. His BFF Ryan even pointed this out to him himself.

It was great that they actually spent a good amount of time showing Baya's dance auditions and all. I always like to see more footage of things like that, as opposed to the hooking up, fights, and such.

Chet was ok this week. But he still kinda acts like he is doing JD some big favor by "accepting his lifestyle" even though it is a sin in his little mind. And even though he sins Chet thinks he is a good person. ANd we all know CHet is ordained to decide if people are good or not.

Ryan still sucks. On other boards straight white girls think he is so hot and he so cool, funny and open-minded for going to a gay bar. There is nothing open minded about going to a gay bar and making poopy faces every time you see something gay.

I like Sarah too. I do not like Baya's "dancing".
