Remembering Margaret Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Re: Remembering Margarat Thatcher. (The Iron Lady)

Thank you Jonny. I wonder sometimes if I look at my past and the history of my country during my youth through rose coloured spectacles. All I ask is for someone to correct me and send me running to Google to verify my memories which often seem incorrect these days.

I do have some personal experience of her awareness of what homosexuality was and a form of acceptance of it in private; third degree I admit but a reliable source even so.

My only regret is she did not die young. She was despicable, although the current Tory pigs are doing worse if that's possible!

The sort of spirited opinions I was talking about. :-)

She lived a happy and healthy lifestyle.I reckon she ate healthy and didn't eat all the junk food that them overweight politicians of today keep stuffing down their pie holes

Half the Conservatives are gay anyway, so i seriously doubt she was as homophobic behind closed door as she was made out to be in public and most of it was no doubt for publicity.

And here we have a picture of the iron lady doing the washing up. She appeared to love doing everyday chores just like the common housewife.

I bet she was just as capable in the kitchen as she was in the house of commons.

This pic is interesting. Here we are witnessing the iron lady reading letters from her fans and thanking her for the good she has done for Britain.

This must've been a sad day for Britain. :##:

But all good things must come to an end, I guess, but we will never forget the hardworking (talented) lady Margaret Thatcher was.

She helped Britain and England can be proud of the iron lady.

Happy times did come again though he was no Thatchee John Major was a great man too.

Now that's a huge disgrace that you — an avid admirer of conservative politicians and members of the Mountbatten-Windsor family — aren't able to identify who's the "fan" (no, wasn't a fan) who was writing these particular letters to her.

Hint: on the picture there are certain upper-case letters visible.

^ Are you saying she had no fans...???

.

I'm very sorry you feel that way. One can only assume you had dealings with Thatchers laws in the past and they didn't quite benefit you.

How dare that fat useless Roy challenge the iron lady. She sure told him.

Mrs Thatcher becomes a full member of the lords.

She deserved it.

Let us recall an older discussion:

The Prince of Kent is also very remarkable.

There's no such person. Do you mean Prince Michael of Kent?

Oh, that's pure gold :D

This too :D

My oh my!, even as a Continental European I am profoundly aware that one should know the significance of a «The» in certain UK-related contexts!

LOL apparently you're really a fan in the word's most hilarious sense — a ventilator :D

^ Actually STAN is more like it.

I'm sure that if Miz could huff her ashes he'd be all over it.

But this is just another Obsessive Compulsive outburst celebrity worship thread. It will pass.
