RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 [merged]

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3

i love this show, but the video portraits are a little boring. those queens are all saying very similar stuff, and most of them dont look very distinctive. what i loved so much about season one were all the weird queens, like ongina and nina flowers and tammy brown... i was always rooting for them. season two already had a lot less weirdness... now it seems to be gone altogether, everybody seems to be going for sexy/glam. lets hope they have a little more spark than they are able to show here.

that being said...

"i know how to glue stuff"
"i see [myself] more as an executive queen..."
"i can do everything. i can sew, i can do... her"

... they did make me laugh, intentionally or not.

I'm rooting for Manila Luzon (represent! :P) she seems like she's gonna bring the same campyness that Jujubee has.

Raja is the makeup artist for America's Next Top Model for more than 10 seasons. California queens take on High Fashion and Modern Way for doing Drag like Ongina and Raven.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3

I agree with your picks bokan800. I like Delta Work too.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3

I auditioned for this show dammit LOL

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3

its on, bitches! good episode, wasnt it?

LOVE manila. then again, im always rooting for the asian queen. then again then again, every single asian queen so far has been beyond fab.

raja is clearly a front-runner as well. shes just a little too confident, but shes still quite likable. and besides, she really did make an amazing outfit and take a good photo; so far her confidence is justified.

love the big girls. stacey and delta work seem very sweet. mimi is pretty much is a guarantee for delicious meltdowns.

there are a couple of cute guys in the mix, but at this point i cant remember the names ^^ but the bear cub of the pit crew is delicious, isnt he?

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 Thread

Please don't post any spoilers on future episodes about eliminations THX.

The show premiered yesterday and there is still no thread what a shame. I liked the first episode and it looks like it's going to be a good season. You could tell right away that the judges favorites is Raja and I think he is a shoo-in for the final three. I already have 2 favorites Carmen Carrera and Stacy Layne Matthews but I don't think either one of them is going to win.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3 Thread

Raja and Manila all the way.

Stacy... that dude is female in and out of drag,

Can't wait for epi 3!

Raja and Manilla are my favs, but personality wise, I hate all of them.

I miss Raven & Jujube, god... Raven... ugh! Love her. She's the kind of bitch I tolerate and am not actually annoyed by on these kind of shows. I miss Tatiana as well, I just loved how she was the prettiest and was always hated on but she kept it real the entire time.

Boo to this years cast, but should be interesting.

whydatkine, I'm hoping that personalities emerge more as the season goes on. My favorites are Raja, Shangela, and Manila. I liked Mariah when she consoled one of the queens and for some reason I want to see more out of Mimi Imfirst.

Did anyone watch last season of UK's X-Factor? This one guy, Storm Lee, during his audition, said, I have the charisma, uniqueness, nerve & talent to be here. And I was like, Bitch, do you watch Rupaul much?

Anyway, I really didn't think I'd like it so much but I was basically really looking forward to this season and it didn't disappoint.

I really really liked Manila and Carmen (so cute!) and I think there's no doubt in my mind that Sultan's already got it in her/his bag.

Raja and Manila are my favorites so far, until they turn into evil bitches (if and when that happens). Does anyone think Stacy resembles Mo'Nique?

Interesting that RuPaul decided to not cast any young black men (no doubt from the Tyra/BeBe wins I'm guessing). There are a lot of latinos though. I can't even tell what ethnicity Stacy is? And what ethnicity is Shangela?

Saw the first episode and was happy to see Shangela back. So far, liking most contestants, got a great first impression from them, can't wait for the next episode.

Shangela looks kinda black but could also be mulatto... wasn't sure though. Also, what ethnicity is Raja?
