It was not as fierce as at it could have been, I think Season 2's finale was by far better than this seasons. Raja did not break any new grounds with her cabaret-like look it was almost like she said "fuck it" and threw on the cheapest look in the box. The end lip sync was disappointing as well, I didn't see ANY of the Raja or Manila fierceness from their respective Lipsyncs from episodes earlier on. If the final decision came down to who was the best during that last lipsync I would have given it to Manila.


They didn't address it, they also skipped the Mimi & Shangela drink throwing drama that was the big to-do on Episode 3. I was disappointed by how much was left out, I really wanted them to address that drink throwing thing because it really seemed like Shangela was at her cuntiest then, but it seemed like they were trying to paint Shan all innocent, and speaking of which Shangela's makeup was all kinds of horrible did Billy B really paint her face for the reunion - I thought he was supposed make queens look better not worse in comparison to their busted self-applied drag look. Oh and I also don't really agree with Yara being crowned "miss congeniality" after all the bitching she was doing I think Manila would have been a better choice.

I thought the finale was okay, but should have been longer. I didn't think the lipsync was all that great, but it wasn't bad either. I've never liked Manila's lipsyncs though. It's just not my style.

As to who should win Miss Congeniality, I probably would have went with Alexis or Stacy Lane Matthews.

I agree with Stacy Layne and Manila being candidates although i believe Mariah would have been the best choice. She was the most mature and most helpful to the other queens. Alexis was far from miss congeniality, she was way too shady and bitchy.
 
Sorry to bring back a dead thread but I just got back from my trip to Vegas where I got to see Shangela and Pandora Box perform. I have to say first for Pandora she MC'd, sang one of her original songs, and did a lip sync to another and threw in some comedy. She is funny as hell and if I didn't think so before I def think she was robbed big time on her season.

As for Shangela if she performed as well on the show as she did at this event she probably would have won. She did a mix of 3 or 4 songs to start off her show, than did some comedy than returned later to do an almost picture perfect version of Beyonces who run the world Billboard award performance which considering had just aired less than a week before Shangela performed was pretty impressive. As for her look I don't know if someone helped her with it or what but she looked really good and well put together.

Just wanted to give props to those ladyboys

I may be seeing Raja in Boston on next week. I'm not sure. If I do, I will definitely let you guys know.
