This review is based SOLELY on what I saw in the "Meet the Queens" section of the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4 website. You can watch them here:

. Also, I know this is too early to make any real judgement calls, but these are my opinions based on what I see as to whether I think they are contenders or not.

The Princess: I like her a lot, but she reminds me a bit of Morgan McMichaels from season 2 in her make-up. She's got a unique enough look, but I hope she doesn't think that will be enough. Being bald won't win her this thing. Having said that, she was one of the best looks of the girls.

Jiggly Caliente: A bit too low key for my tastes. Her video was really focused on how she thinks she's cute and I'm just not convinced she's got enough fire in her to go up against other fierce queens.

Willam: I kind of love her. Her confidence ("My first time auditioning, but I always get what I want") may turn to cockiness, and again I couldn't help getting a Morgan McMichaels vibe from her, but as of now I liking what I see. Could have hidden her 5 o'clock shadow better though!

Phi Phi O'Hara:...Eh. She's got a good enough look, but otherwise she she was just OK. In this competition, that's not good, who want's to be the queen everyone forgets was even on? My prognosis; she'll be the India Ferrah of the season.

Latrice Royale: Honestly I have a bad feeling about this one; A: She just reminds me of a black Victoria Pork-Chop Parker, and we know how well she did on the show. B: One of the first things she said was she wants to really represent the big girls! That translates to "I'll be the biggest emotional mess of the show". She seems sweet enough, but I wasn't loving her look. Not a contender in my book.

Dida Ritz: She sounds and acts like Mariah! She was working a fierce look, and made sure we knew her pride in her legs. My worry is like Mariah, will she let her looks do the work and fail to show any personality in the challenges?

Chad Michaels: She's been doing this for 19 years and it shows. I loved that she was confident but not cocky! She was willing to admit that the new girls can still beat her so she's not over-confident. her look and interview were pretty low-key, though. Still, as of now I'm rooting for her!!!

Kenya Michaels: The Puerto Rican Drag queens are famous for being the show's sweethearts, and Kenya seems like she'll continue that tradition. I loved her hair, but her outfit, while cute, was a little too standard for me. It looked like Dida and Milan's looks. Still loving her though!!!

Lashawn Beyond: She's pretty but frankly, I almost forgot to review her. I'm willing to give everyone on this show the benefit of the doubt, but Tyra Sanchez and Akashia were the first two queens to come to mind, and that's hardly a compliment!

Madame LaQueer: My first thought was "Delta Work with a better attitude!" LOVE HER!!!! Another Latin sweetheart!

Milan: I'm loving me some Milan!!! She has a realness to her, and I mean in that she seems like someone humble enough to talk to after the show's over. She's approachable. Her outfit was simple, but it worked for me.

Sharon Needles: I love the dark edginess to her; Yara Sophia Americanized! My favorite look of the girls in the promos/trailer. She had a 'Vida Boheme' to her voice, and I loved that she was in character the entire video. I just hope she's versatile enough to do more than dark and eerie, shticks like that will only take you so far. Otherwise perfection.

Alisa Summers: Carmen and Alexis had a baby apparently! Sounds like Rebecca Glasscock. Like Carmen, she seems obsessed with being pretty, which means like Carmen she'll be irritatingly boring. Hopefully I'm wrong.

^I'm going to do the opposite. Opening the library, serving up realness dahling.

The Princess: Hunty, no, we already had Ongina and miss things was leagues ahead of your space suit.

Jiggly Caliente: Jigglypuff, ya bore me; leave the thing on your head alone, it ain't gonna jump off.

William: Baby, you talk yourself up WAY too much and ya ain't all that. I don't think you gonna win either!

Phi Phi O'Hara: Janelle Monae would LOVE her hair back and Pheonix is gagging that you're mopping her style!

Latrice Royale: Hunny, DSL in silver is not a good look on YOU. Mystique got the split game on lock, stop jocking. Dooty calls, okaaaaaaay?

DiDa Ritz: Are you a lady or a marionette? Stiff as hell boo boo, need you to loosen them hips mama; whip them back and forth, then fix that wig.

Chad Michaels: New Housewive of Drag, hunny who did your cheeks? Botox Barbie in the house!

Kenya Michaels: Didn't we see you already last year? Who you trying to fool?

Lashauwn Beyond: Beyond tired, fuck it up and over it. Don't even know what you wanna be.

Madame LaQueer: ... dammit, bitch WORK. But do something about the curtain on the shoulder, i'ma need a lil more fierce for all of that!

Milan: Hunty those teeth could chop wood.

Sharon Needles: Bride of Beetlejuice, i'm scared of you! Gonna need some holy water to take that makeup off.

Alisa Summers: You're worth a dollar, if that; ain't no 50's going up for something we've seen before miss thang.

And now, the library is CLOSED.

I have 5 people this season I like off the bat(and one of them is OBVIOUS) - lets see where they place.

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

Okay, this must be pretty early as the premiere is on the 30th of Jan. but I'm excited. The queens this year look pretty fierce and polished. I doubted season 3 which ended up being my favorite season and cast, so I guess we'll have to wait for the show to premiere to judge.

My favorites so far based on their interviews are Alisa Summers, Jiggly Caliente, and Sharon Needles.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

So far my overall favorites are Sharon Needles and Alisa Summers.

I like The Princess' look, but she's not as interesting as some of the other queens.

Willam also scores points because she was on Sex and The City, but I don't think her look is all that polished.

I assume they are looking for a more sci-fi type queen with all the talk of taking drag into a different dimension and the fact that there wasn't a lot of conventionality in the queens looks.

They do seem pretty polished and I don't dislike anyone, so this could be a fun season.

We shall see.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

I think the whole sci fi getup was for commercial purposes, they should all have their own interpretation of drag for the competition.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

I'm really excited about this too!!! I'm reserving judgement on the queens until the series actually starts. I'm mainly excited though coz I know that Shawn Morales, the really cute pit crew member from last season is going to be back :D

That's right who are the pit crew members for this season? I can't wait! Last season's girls really left a mark with me though, I love them and the whole Heathers vs. Boogers thing lol. Love me some Heathers.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

This is a pic of Shawn Morales just for good measure. His facebook page confirms that he will be returning for season 4.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

Chad Michaels & Sharon needles 4 the win

think alot of them lack confidence in their presentation video and dont know how to present themselves

there is alot of them that are 50/50 can go either way but there are some really bad ones

i also love Latrice Royal..its so bad its good ,,kinda like tammie brown

and i think its funny that Lashauwn Beyond talks about she gets her inspiration from Mugler and Mcqueen...just say you get it from Lady Gaga bitch and stop pretending you know fashion hahaah

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

I think this will be the year a big girl is crowned, I'm really liking Jiggly for some reason.

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

Sharon Needles. I like my severe queens, and it's time one took the crown(Raja almost counts, but Yara Sofia is the true dark lady of that season).

Re: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4

Sharon Needles is my fav so far, after watching all the interveiws. Chad michaels looks like they had plastic surgery, but it coudl just be really good make up techniques.

Re: Rupaul's Drag Season 4

I love Rupaul's drag race. My money is on Sharon Needles.

I love RPDR!
One important thing that we (as viewers) need to do is to stop making the new queens these new versions of the old queens. I'm sure they really don't like that! But I have to say that Willam is my favorite! She's funny, pretty and VERSATILE. That's the one thing I look for in a queen. I like queens that don't take themselves too seriously! She doesn't. Easily one of the most accomplished queens on the show. I had actually heard of her! Not far behind are Milan and DiDa. I really like Kenya Michaels as well! Bitch can dance! Unlike alot of people here, I'm not really caring for Chad Michaels. She seems like she could get stale quick. And that plastic surgery is horrible! But I'm sure she's got a couple of tricks up her sleeve. I kinda like the Princess, she intrigues me. I'd really like to see what else she's got other than the edgy, bald look. Latrice, Latrice, Latrice... She's honestly grown on me alot since I first saw her video. She can turn a house down! I just think her look is going to be a real issue. Madame LaQueer just kinda falls in the middle for me. From some videos of her on YouTube, I've noticed she has quite a bit of versatility in painting. I like Sharon Needles but I'm really hoping that she's not just going to ALWAYS go for campy and shock. I do dig a good character though, and she's got that down. Alisa Summers seems pretty. I'm not digging those pads though. I don't see her making it far simply because she doesn't invoke any strong emotion. I kinda like something about Jiggly, but she doesn't scream winner. Neither did Tyra and contrary to what many people say, Tyra turned it. Challenge after challenge. PhiPhi O'Hara... catchy name. That's really all I see in her. She seems to have way more confidence than she should. I YouTubed her and she can perform but nothing spectacular. LaShawn seems to be really sweet and I'd love to see what her outfits come out to be. But I really don't see her making it far. Hope I didn't miss anyone. And there goes my opinion! :)

Loved season 4 premiere more than I thought I would. These girls are all polished in their own way, kudos to Ru Paul for this cast. I found the Princess, Phi Phi, and Alisa to be the cutest guys out of drag.

just watched the first episode and cant believe Jiggly got to stay over Alisa. wtf? Jiggly is a mess. I hope Sharon Needles can pull off other looks other than scary cuz that bitch is crazy awesome! Whydakine, I agree, Alisa is the hottest guy out of drag, thats another reason I wanted him to stay.

I think Jiggly made a mistake with her first outfit, but we've seen a lot of queens get pounded first before really coming up. I love her personality and the judges see it, too. Alisa was a tough choice but let's be honest, they were all polished and Alisa didn't even try with the lip sync so it was clear Jiggly won.

But yeah, Alisa has got to be one of the hottest guy out of drag from all seasons. I'm a little sketchy about Sharon but I really like her.

Damn it RuPaul... lol, love the show. I now have more appreciation for drag because of it.

Can I just say disappointing the mini-challenge was? I liked the whole concept, but the set and back-drop looked terribly fake. I also felt like there was an unnatural curve used on the win; was Jiggly's picture really all that more spectacular than the other girls(granted none of them were wow worthy)?

Sharon Needles: Frankly, as soon as the apocalyptic theme was announced, I figured Sharon had this in the bag. It's a theme that works perfectly with her drag persona. I'm not saying she didn't work for her win, but I'm still withholding judgement on how well she can adapt to other forms of drag.

The Princess: Another who lucked into an androgynous friendly challenge. I liked the look, but as with Sharon; how well can she work a more feminine vibe?

Lashawn Beyond: Upon first glance of her promo picture I got an Akashia/Tyra vibe from her, and while I still see a little Sanchez in there, she's at least got some skills to push her through. Sure it could have fared some polish, but after Sharon Lashawn had my favorite costume. Also, I agree with her take on Jiggly; it's season four, "I can't sew" has never saved anyone so far, why should it now?

Chad Michaels: 19 years of experience in full blossom! This is a queen who knows she's fierce, and doesn't need to "Jerry Springer it" to establish her strengths. I started out rooting for her, and this has done nothing to change that!

Milan: Honestly, had the un-tucked episode not revealed her lack of sewing skills, I'd never had believed it! It was no winner, but (especially with this knowledge) it was a strong enough entry! Also, her attitude makes her another favorite of mine!

Willam: Loved the monocle, and (contrary to what anyone else says) I find her make-up flawless (though she may have just lucked into a naturally soft face.) While I can see her type of humor and need to name-drop will get irritating fast, I'd hardly call her the season b!tch, just the season know-it-all.

Phi Phi O'Hara: If anyone came across b!tchy this week, it was this one! True Willam seemed quick to judge others, but Phi Phi had just as many clips of herself trash-talking others. She's got a stronger look than I originally anticipated, but it's only week one woman! Give them a chance!

Latrice Royale: I'd been told that this one could serve it up, but based on her promotional look I wasn't digging her. Forgive me! I LOVE LATRICE!!!! I love a sweetheart, and that is this one to a t!

Madame Laqueer: She appears to be able to give Delta-esque looks with Mimi-esque humor. I like her, but she probably left the smallest impression of the girls this week.

Dida Ritz: She did ok, all things considered. She's Mariah incarnate (Look at my legs) so I don't see her going too far, but it was decent look. Also, girl needs some tips on wigs!

Kenya Michaels: I love her energy. Like Michelle, my only quibble (albeit a huge one) was that nothing about her look said apocalyptic, otherwise it was a great look. She can work a runway, I just hope that this was a one-time mistake. She can't just walk out in whatever outfit she wants regardless of the theme Ru has established.

Jiggly Caliente: Here's season 4's Shangela; quick to read others, while failing to see her own shortcomings. I'm waiting for the inevitable meltdown this one will have. Also, anyone else agree that she shouldn't have one the mini-challenge?

Alisa Summer: I figured she was gone when she walked out. Her look had the same feel as Venus's look last season. First clue huntee; it didn't work for her, why would it work for you?
