B-Lee, I wondered "why" the thread was named she bop; but now, it's crystal clear!

I luv Ms Lauper, just love her.......she always took her own path, regardless of what anyone thought......her hair, her clothing, and specially her song material which I also love!!

I'm soooo jealous that you at least got a "throw-kiss".......but happy you allowed her to be private......sometimes fans just rush stars and it kinda ruins their whole evening when they have to leave, say dinner early to avoid the on-rush of excited fans!

I'll have to drag out some ole cyndi tunes and walk down ye old memory lane or something!!

I always admired her determination in overcoming an illness which the doctors had told her would not allow her to sing. Her gravelly voice is a result of that illness. I'm not certain if it was cancer, though.

When i was in New orleans for school she was there filming a video

I litterally physically bumped into her as she was walking out of pirates alley into Jackson square.

I looked at her with really intimidated eyes, im sure, as I froze in my tracks

her response was..." oh fuck off" as she pushed past me.

Of course i was so happy that i had to tell all my friends that cindi Lauper had cussed me out...lol

still one of my fondest memories of a brush with a famous person.

I know... I'm just a silly fag...lol
