Ok perhaps my use of the word immigrant was incorrect. However the workings of the economy can not be argued. I've studied economics, the basis of the firm i work for is based on economic fact and i needed to study economics to get it.

IF (and this is NOT my view) there were no migrant workers in the UK, employers would be forced to put up their wage offerings if people refused to do the underpaid jobs.

It is FACT. However, seeing as there is not going to be an end to the migrant workers, this point is merely academic.

I didnt say that the above was my own personal beleif.. i beleive that the migrant workers are more than welcome to come to the UK and pay their way... in just the same way that Brits go abroad to other countries to become migrant workers there too.
