God Save Save The Queen

by THE ARCHIES best cartoon band ever.

you forgot this one

Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home,
Swing low, sweet chariot,
Coming for to carry me home.

I looked over Jordan, and what did I see?
Coming for to carry me home,
A band of angels coming after me,
Coming for to carry me home.

Refrain

If you get there before I do,
Coming for to carry me home,
Tell all my friends I’m coming, too.
Coming for to carry me home.

Refrain

I’m sometimes up and sometimes down,
Coming for to carry me home,
But still my soul feels heavenly bound,
Coming for to carry me home.

Refrain

The brightest day that I can say,
Coming for to carry me home,
When Jesus washed my sins away,
Coming for to carry me home.

Refrain

^an American Spiritual hymn as England's national anthem^^

what a kick in the ass

Think that that came from an ugly period in American history. A beautiful song but none the less.

With all these immigrants coming over, I feel that England exists in name only, it certainly no longer exists as a country.

If we were to have a National Anthem, at this moment in time, I think I should be inclined to use I vow to Thee, My Country.

With that one, we can see where their loyalties lie!

you don't like imigrants then.

i'm an immigrant and so is my entire family.

we worked hard and we helped canada be the amazing country it is.

i remember the day we became citizen's. best day ever. i saw the look on my dad's face. so proud.

first election. my dad told not to take this this right to lightly. it's a privilege, not a right he taught me. he voted for Trudeau. the guy who said that the gov has no place in the bedrooms of the nation

where are my loyalties..

heck i'm always going to be an italian boy at heart.

but the country i'd fight for in war is Canada.

can i just ask what Jerusalem has to do with england? id rather have a song about england or nothing than one about another country? but i could be wrong thats why i asked!

Yes, damn those economic migrants, doing the jobs we don't want to do ourselves! Damn them! Some of them aren't even white don't you know?? Shocking!!

I don't think England particularly needs a national anthem myself, seeing as we're not a particularly nationalistic society. If I had to choose one, I would say "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by The Beatles :p

How 'bout Elton John's "Made In England"?

No?

Perhaps a catchy George Michael ditty?

Pretty much anything would be better than GSTQ.

Bloody tuneless dirge.

I'm also backing the campaign to have St. Edmund restored to his rightful place as patron, and throw that completely fictional Turkinsh bloke out on his ear...

We dont want to do them ourselves because they pay too low for our needs. The reason they pay to low is because they know that they can employ a foreigner on a fraction of what we would ask.

Therefore, do away with the immigrants, wages will be FORCED through sheer laws of economics to rise.. and we will ALL be better off.

Now, that is not my own beleif, that is economic fact. Im merely explaining the impact of immigrant workers on an economy.

Same applies in the United States with the Mexican workers.
I don't doubt your sound grounding in economic theory and strategy, in fact there isn't a single hole in the argument you just presented.

On that note, I'll just wish you and the rest of your mates in the BNP the best of british for the next elections and hope the rest of the moderate, but staunchly proud nationalists see the light!

Have you thought about an anthem just for York? How about The Weather Girls, "It's Raining Piss"?

Utter rightwing, incoherent bollocks; spouted by an utter rightwing, incoherent bollock. But if you throw enough shit, some will stick.

There is not one example in history in which economic migrants have degradated the economy to which they join. A challenge you to correct me on this.

Anyway, we've talked about this before - http://justusboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87870

NB: I said economic migrants, not immigrants/asylum seekers - this is an important distinction that is often missed by piss drinking stupid people.

Ok perhaps my use of the word immigrant was incorrect. However the workings of the economy can not be argued. I've studied economics, the basis of the firm i work for is based on economic fact and i needed to study economics to get it.

IF (and this is NOT my view) there were no migrant workers in the UK, employers would be forced to put up their wage offerings if people refused to do the underpaid jobs.

It is FACT. However, seeing as there is not going to be an end to the migrant workers, this point is merely academic.

I didnt say that the above was my own personal beleif.. i beleive that the migrant workers are more than welcome to come to the UK and pay their way... in just the same way that Brits go abroad to other countries to become migrant workers there too.

NorthernGuy and Ben, im sorry if you find the truth about the economy hurtful to your very idealistic views, but economics is a subject which doesnt bode well with idealism.
Tut.

'i' before 'e', except after 'c'.
