As I type this, my giant Six Feet Under post is looking down at me.

I've just started the boyfriend on the series, we're on season 4 with two episodes left, then just season 5 to finish.

I was disappointed that the show ended after five seasons; more disappointed that the last two seasons dropped from 13 to 12 episodes...

But it couldn't have ended more perfectly.

Anyways, I've warned the b/f that he can expect me to weep like a baby during the series finale, as I've yet to view it without doing so.

I watched this show when it originally aired on HBO. What a great show! I always thought David and Keith were such a great couple. Though David was such a jerk most of the time. I have always thought Keith was so HOT!

This series far out did any theatrical film I ever saw. It just isn't possible to build such strong character-viewer connections in a mere two or three hour format.

Books can do it but books are limited by language in their descriptions.

There are only so many adjectives to describe something.

The writing, directing, and acting in Six Feet Under was amazing.

The Casting Director for 6 Feet under DESERVED an Emmy...HBO hires some of the BEST casting directors for their Dramas/Comedies & feature films but that show was TOPS...


One of my favorite episodes is when David & Keith was fighting all over the living room in their robes then the next thing you know they start Making love on the Floor...LOL...

They Fucked other Guys from time to time..Broke up & got back together so many times..But you always knew they were meant for each other...

NO television show ever affected me the way that SFU did....

Episodes 12 and 13 of the first season are perhaps the best writing and directing I've ever seen... I can quote them word for word.... Nothing short of *brilliant*.

The series lost it's way briefly in season five, but judged as a whole, "Six Feet Under" remains among the best shows ever made.

I hope this isn't old news by now... I only started watching the series about a month ago and went through all five seasons in that time!

It is infuriating, and depressing, and annoying and the characters are so self-destructive and selfish it was such a stressful and depressing watch... BUT IT WAS BRILLIANT!!!!

OMG! I was absolutely hooked!

And that ending. Is there a better six and a half minutes on TV?!

Pitch perfect.

Too many things to say about Six Feet Under. Definitely my favourite show. I was a bit late to the party as well, but to be fair, I was only eleven when it came out...

The finale is probably my favourite moment in television history. I have no shame in admitting that I can't watch it without crying, but there were so many other great moments that I can't even bother to make a list. Great writing, great directing, fantastic acting, and perfect selection of music to boot - so much to say, and not nearly enough time...
