I was looking at all the shows being canceled and Smallville got tossed away like the rest.

There are other shows on another website that have been canceled like No ordinary Familt, V, Off The Map and many others. 2011 ican be the year of the death of so many shows in the same year as Oprah's last hoora. Even the long running America's Most Wanted got canned as well.

It didn't get cancelled...it finished it's 10 year run with a 2 hour series finale.

I'm pissed that V, Breaking In, Human Target and No Ordinary Family got shitcanned.

Smallville didnt get cancelled. The producers and the network both agreed that season 10 will be its last. There is a difference to getting cancelled and ending on ur own terms

Didn't get canceled. As others have said, they decided ten years would be enough.
At least the show went out on good terms instead of slowly sputtering to its demise.

true! I guess it's better this way!

Im so glad that they got to finish the story and didnt get forced to just end it unfinished.
Gonna miss this show alot!

I am sad to see Smallville go. I was disappointed in the finale that Clark (Tom Welling) did not actually wear the Superman costume.

There seems to be more scripts that was never been done in production on the film yet. Could the season 11 scripts being done into making movie specials? They said that about Star Trek:Enterprise, and no movies been made yet for CW.

Indeed, trust me, nothing is more painful than watching a once great show slowly sputter into nothing...happened with JAG,Law & Order SVU and some other shows I like.
I'm glad it didn't happen to smallville.
