hey guy's, so Smallville is running it's final season :'( i've been watching it since Season 6 but maybe some of you have been watching it since the premiere..

i'm hyped for the finale because we are finally gonna watch Tom Welling in the suit :) and Michael Rosenbum will reprise his role as Lex Luthor it's been 3 years since he didn't went on the show

so what do you think of this season?

oh and here's a little finale preview from YouTube:

Keeping in mind that there is a new Superman movie in the works I doubt he will put on the costume - although we may see it folded in the corner or hanging up somewhere...

But I bet we will see him fly...

Well we've already seen it folded up in a box a few times. And I think that I heard something about the director saying that Clark would never fly in this show, although we did see him levitate, and he flew in fake computer world, I think.

We have seen the red and blue - but not he full costume...

The producers did say we would not see him fly in the show - but this would be the end of the show...

And look at the poster they did for the finale with "Believe" on it. The original Superman movie ad campaign was "You'll Believe a Man Can Fly!", so I am guessing that the "believe" in the poster for the final episodes is linked to that.

I'm surprised no one posted here after watching tonight's episode Booster. That's if anyone watched at all. =/

I have been watching since the very first episode and I own all the seasons and sat down and watched them all in a row. Took me like 6 weeks. I enjoyed seeing Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, and even Ted Kord. He hit Booster right on the head! He was Booster. Guy did a great job. I am also curious if we will see Clark as Superman. I wanna say we will but there has been no talk of it. I am wondering if he will open his shirt at the end, we see he's wearing the suit, and then the end credits.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you Eric Martsolf had Booster down to a T. I still can't believe he was able to pull off that cheesy smirk/grin he does in the comics! I never really cared much for Booster but he was pretty cool and entertaining in the episode...and annoying haha. I was a little bummed out to lean Skeets was an ear piece but I guess the tech they were working with for the show it would have been too much to have a hovering pod in nearly every scene with Booster.

Same thing with the effects for Blue Beetle, but again, it's Smallville, I wasn't expecting much anyways. But it was good what with they were able to managed. I still prefer this one though...

And I'm not even sure if that's real. But they def need to swap the actor with the one from Smallville if it is... =/

Edit: Did I mention Booster Gold had a nice ass throughout the show? ^_^

^ That Blue Beetle was way better than the Smallville one. What was that for?

I guess it's supposed to be a teaser for the tv series that's been rumored for a while now.

I missed this week's episode because we had tornadoes that took over all the TV coverage.

Last week's alternate reality episode was a bit irritating to me because it seems like there's so much they need/could do still, but only have a few episodes left. Why waste it in an alternate reality? I guess just to get Pa Kent back in one more time?

I wasn't really looking forward to the Booster episode that I missed anyway. Honestly, it looked kind of stupid to me. I'm not a comic book person, so please don't hate me if my feelings are uninformed. :) From the reaction here, I guess it was a good episode though.

Why watch Smallville if u r not a comic person? It is a comic book based series. The Booster episode felt like Superman is coming. I felt it was the first episode to do that.

Why watch Smallville if u r not a comic person?

I love Star Trek, but never read any of the books. I loved Queer As Folk, but never read any of the books. I loved reading The Davinci Code, but hated the movie. I sure didn't need any comic book to enjoy the X-Men movies.

There's no correlation, and we all should be thankful as there aren't enough comic book readers to sustain any TV show or movie that originated in that genre. (That's true of other genres too.)

Actually, come to think of it... many of my friends are comic book readers and they all hate Smallville. I never talk about it with them anymore because I know they're going to roll their eyes at me. :D

And if only the people who are into comics went to see the Batman, Iron Man, X-Men, etc. movies they all would have been major failures rather than giant hits.

No, no, I get all that^ But he said he hated Booster and thought it was stupid or whatever he said. Smallville and even X-men all have characters like Booster. They all wear suits and are heroes. If you are not into that or comics why would you watch? That is what I was asking. Wasn't trying to be a ass or anything. Just curious.

Gotta Love Granny!

Now that the show is over, I bought the final season... I'm sad it isn't there every week anymore. But now I'm thinking about buying the new boxset complete series... A lot of cash though.

I got the final season as well -

I hate the fact they put extras in the complete series box sets that are not available individually - they should reward those of us that have bought each season as they came out and not make us re-buy the entire thing just to get the extras!
