Street Fighter 4 anyone?

not the biggest SF fan, but i can't wait to get ahold of this game. from what i've seen so far, it's pretty fucking sweet!!! Cammy's finisher is just AWESOME!!!!

I'd love to play it! Did you see the Game Stop In-Store Tournaments they were having? However, I'm a bigger fan of MK. Anyone play MK vs DC comics yet, that look bad ass too.

It fothermuckin' rocks. Seth is a bitch to beat though. I'm best with Cammy and Sakura, my stronger style is rotation moves over charges. Looks from the input I'll not ever manage Vega's Ultra. Awesome game though.

Seth is the cheapest boss of all the Street Fighters, and i too, sorta hate playing with the 360 d-pad(which is a shame - i prefer the d-pad over the stick).

But besides those points, it is an awesome game, and i'm going to go back to playing it right now...

(oh, and at the mention of Cammy - i wish they would have given her the Killer Bee Assault again - that was her true finisher!)

Killer Bee Assault was sweet as HELL!!!

Gill wasn't too bad...his resurrection dealie was annoying as hell

and I want some Street Fighter 3 people....Dudley and Remy in particular...love Dudley much more than Balrog

It looks great and I'm excited they've brought back Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick. I have been debating whether to get this or Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Both games I think are awesome, but financially not capable of buying both. Any suggestions?

Hey, I love Rose. A bit tough to play with in this game though. She's an original choice. You can say Adon shares some similarities with Sagat. If they added more Alpha characters, I would want Rolento and Guy.

I guess the Cammy love is a gay thing, because she's my favorite character. Gotta love that hooligan combo. Abel is pretty awesome too.

But I have one burning question -- why do people choose Ken in network battle? Literally, I've probably fought Ken in 75% of my online matches (and I play online A LOT). What makes him so special?

From experience, I think it's because he has the same damage as Ryu, but the multiple parts to the attacks instead of Ryu's one big stomp gives more of a margin for error.

Personally I hate Fei Long and the cheap ass flame leg move that stops anyone getting close.

Additionally I unlocked Seth last night. Jesus, what a pussy.

oh hell yeah...forgot all about my dude Rolento...he was the shit in Alpha 2....then he got lost in the mix of Alpha 3

also....I hate how you have to fill up that whole Super meter to do a Super Combo...whereas 3 or 4 hits from another player gets your Revenge meter filled enough to do an Ultra Combo

True but the balance is double sided. Firstly, Super charge up continues through the rounds, so even though it may be slightly weaker you get to store it as an extra tool. Secondly a lot of the best Ultra attacks depend on going in from something else, or having it totally full. Yeah, you may be able to throw Ken's Ultra out when it's just become available, but most of the time it just EX's a hadouken. But full and it'll go every tim e, and can be comboed into as well, meaning you can stop the smug bastards blocking your big shiny beatdown.

It's an issue of options. Again, with Ken I'd rather use the super meter to EX moves, so they cn dodge projecile nd the like, but a character like Akuma does a hell of a lot more damae with a Super combo, or a full ultra/super switch.

A couple are being considered for an update but it's unlikely, Capcom said quite forcefully that the reason why the characters are an Alpha and SF2 mix is because the timeline of SFIV is set after 2 but before 3. Makes sense too, especially if you've seen the SF2 anime, the Bison bots in that are prototypes of Seth.

It's a lot of fun but not much different from other Street Fighter games.

I still prefer Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

SF 4 is still better than Mortal Kombat vs. DC in my opinion.

PS: I'm a big fan of Dan.

I need to get that game again... it has been way too long since i've played it.

Oh, and I can't use Dhalsim. I just can't. He plays far too slowly, his Yoga Blast and Flame have to be too close and come out too slowly, and Yoga Catastrophe is a joke, and a dumb one.

He's officially the joke, along with Fuerte.

you aren't kidding about Dhalsim...I know he was never a lightning fast character but damn...

and the mechanics of this game continue to piss me off...me and my bf were playing today and he was Ken and I was Ryu...and I was already in the motion of doing a Dragon Punch (and hitting him)...but then he does a Dragon Punch maybe a half second later and hits me...and it wasn't like he was doing a cancel or focus attack or anything to negate my faster Dragon Punch...

still having fun with this game...but shit like that pisses me the hell off
