Ok I'll answer.....:D

I saw Mission Impossible just last week at a rep theatre.

It wasn't as bad I thought it would be. but then I only paid 4 bucks to see it:D Tom Cruise isn't worth more then that.

I haven't seen any of the "Mission" pictures nor did I watch the t.v. show. It's not so much a disliking Tom Cruise thing but rather just don't enjoy that sort of movie! [-X

And THANKS Pete for your ONE & ONLY response!!!!! ..| (*8*)

Actually I liked "Lady in the water". Was it my favorite M' Night movie?....No that would be "Signs"
Was it my least favorite?.....No that would be "Unbreakable".

I didn't find it hard to figure out at all and even had spme things figured out before they were revealed.
M.Night still remains a unique producer/director!

You forgot Devil Wears Prada!!! Best movie of the summer!!!

The very last line in my "ode" is from "Devil".....Miranda's tag line "That's all".

I agree though "Devil Wears Prada" "Cars" & "Click" are my three favorites so far this summer.
Thanks for your response!!!! :D

What about Clerks II, it was hilarious! ..| And I really liked Ice Age 2 as well. Oh! And Over the Hedge was good since on the topic of the animated flicks.

Mission Impossible 3 was the only summer film to deliver the goods in all the ways you would want.

To judge the film negatively because you personally dont like Tom Cruise is a bit stupid. I think the guy is a bit of a freak, but the film was ace, and that's what they pay him for.

We were all set to see "Clerks II" yesterday but we got caught up in a shopping spree! :help: We'll catch It next weekend!
It looks very funny although i didn't see the first one.
The animated films ....."Ice Age" came out in Mar. and somehow i overlooked "Over The Hedge"?
I usually only like the Pixar ones and "Polar Express" & "Monster House".
Thanks! ..|

Sorry, I forgot "that's all" came from Prada-I'm such an airhead lol.
I agree with you on Cars; wasn't it sooo cute!!! Did you stay for the end credits??????

XYBOYMS,
Yes I stayed for the end credits....with Pixar you know they're gonna throw in something good! It was my favorite Pixar and I really don't understand why it isn't doing as well money wise as the others????? "The Incredibles"....bleh

"You are a TOY CAR!!!" The whole movie was so fun! It's not my favorite Pixar movie (that would be Bug's Life/Finding Nemo) but it just passed $200 million here in the U.S.!! It's going to make more than X3 before summer's over.

Cute rhyme Jadin

I myself usually rock out the summer blockbusters. i love them but this year, ive been way too busy. I did catch MI3 and actually thought it was better than i expected. Tom has created such a circus around himself that it does bleed into his work. But MI3 had a good pace, good side characters and fun relentless action.

then i saw x3. So it looked like they tried to squeeze together 3 movie plotlines into one. Either of them would have made a satisfying movie if fleshed out but together, it was a mess. I HATED certain plot points that they used and TOO MANY of the characters were completley untrue to their character. You can write a plot how you want it, but do not rewrite the motives and behavior of a character thats been established in 2 previous movies and more so in decades of lore. thumbs down. BUT.. the action scenes were phenomenal and blew the past 2 movies out of the water.

Nacho Libre- I had to hang out with this 17 year old. I wanted to see something else, anything else. He wanted to see this. He won. I liked School of Rock and this was directed by Napoleon Dynamite helmer so I gave in. God I was so miserable. even Jack Black didn't save this for me. Then i remembered, oh shit- i didn't like Napoleon Dynamite except for the dancing scene. crap.

Lady in the water- Bryce dallas howard looks like sissy spacek. Everybody's reactions to the plot as it progresses is stupid. If I lived in that apartment complex and that guy knocked on my door and said, blah blah blah, fantastical creature, water, evil dog thing, blah blah, prophecy, flying eagle, blah blah, you are the keymaster or guild, blah blah, come downstairs and help. I would have asked him what he was smoking, could i buy some, and kick him the hell out. loser.

How depressing that thats it. On my list is still Pirates, Superman, Miami Vice, and actually Da Vinci Code. god i hate working. i want a vacation, for a couple years.

Thank you!

YES; Bryce was looking like Spacek in this movie.
My take on the apartment dwellers not questioning anything Is..........it was a "fairy tale" so i believe M. Night rather than writing a script where first the dwellers had to be convinced about the Blue World he just stuck with the fairytale aspect. Probably sticking to the story he told his daughter in real life.

I enjoyed X3 though :=D: :=D:

There are some good movies coming in August that I am looking forward to!

We might do a double feature this weekend. "Clerks II" for some laughs then "The Night Listener" for some scares.
Robin Williams Is such an underated dramatic actor!

The Night Listener.....I compare it to a massage without the "happy ending!":(
It was good and all but It just left you wanting more!
Maybe I should see "The Descent?" It's getting really good reviews and might actually be a horror movie that delivers the goods!

Come on peeps......ANYONE seen ANY movies this summer????????????

"The Descent" sucks. It's nothing more than a blood bath gore fest. Boring and stupid. It was made in England over a year ago. It's ALL female English unknown cast didn't help keep my attention, either.

Goof:
They are supposed to be in the U.S. Appalachian mountains on a caving expedition. In the opening, they are shown in an suv with North Carolina tags, later, the tags shown are from Montana! Oops!

Thanks for the view on it! It seems a lot of people like It though.
Rotten Tomato gave It 83% the best results over most recent movies.
