Kim is SO the best fucking player this season. Which will make it all the more disappointing when she loses to Troyzan.

Still not quite buying that scenario Pepper. Maybe I'm hoping against hope at this point, but for me I feel Troy is floating down the stream to fourth place fan favorite pretty much like Ozzy did last season.

I hope you're right slip, but I'm still getting that vibe.

For starters, you know the previews are always misleading so the heavy TROYZAN LOSES IT edit probably means he won't go next week.

If he ends up being the last man standing, he could very well win the requisite immunity challenges to be a finalist and in that case, he'll get all the men's votes over any of those girls.

I hate that I want Kim to win SO bad because anyone I root for that much never wins.

On the flipside of next episode preview focus is recap focus - and Kim has been credited strategically in them for the last few weeks. And not in a negative way even though it would be so easy to paint her as an evil female mastermind.

I definitely think it's going to be Kim or Troy. Chelsea is getting the Chase edit, and Sabrina is mostly a narrator. Everyone else comes or goes when they're needed. If Troy is not in the finals, Kim definitely wins and vice versa. If they're both in there... that's Ozzy vs. Yul all over again I think. I am leaning toward Kim because the recaps and edits of the tribes this season have been either neutral or leaning toward the women's favor.

Except Ozzy and Yul were on the same team. Troy in the finals is more like Bob vs Sugar & Susie on Gabon. The game has gone right back to men vs women again and if it's Kim vs Troy, Troy gets all the male votes and it's over. If it's Kim vs any of those girls, Kim wins.

She needs to get Troy out NOW.

Sabrina and Leif are flying way under the radar. If any past Survivor's is any indication, one of those two could take it.

I meant Yul vs. Ozzy in terms of how close the jury is, actually. It would be a 5-4 win for either person, probably, all depending on the third finalist. Does Troy win in a Kim/Troy/Alicia or Kim/Troy/Kat F3 (with third place getting zero votes) when he and Mike supposedly hated each other and Troy enabled Kim to boot Mike? How close that sort of vote would be is where I make the Ozzy/Yul comparison - particularly if Troy challenge whored his way to the end like Ozzy while Kim played the cerebral Yul role.

This is all just me throwing out would-be scenarios though. This is a brilliant analysis slip and god I hope you're right. Kim is the kind of female player we haven't had in a LONG time. So obviously good that even fans who worship false-gods like Russell Hantz and Dick Donato on BB can't deny her awesome gameplay.

I can't claim a thorough analysis like yours. Pretty much the only two things I'm going with for my prediction of a Troyzan win are 1) pessimism and 2) Kim's lack of "winner" soundbites (she gets plenty of chances to articulate her strategies, but none of the this-will-be-replayed-over-the-winner's-montage-at-the-reunion-show like Tarzan's "It ain't Survivor if you ain't lying").

Oh and I still say they had him ask to drink the 7-Up for a reason.

TROYZAN FINDS ANOTHER IDOL

This is what I'm afraid will happen as well. They play fast and loose with the idols and it really annoys me. Remember in Samoa when Russell kept finding idols because they kept replanting them because they WANTED him to stick around?

I really wish they'd just go back to having one idol per season. Played or not, it shouldn't be replanted.

Oh I feel you there. But every now and then, we get a Natalie White or even a Boston Rob (vs. Jesus Matt) peaking out through the overbearing pessimism that the person we don't want to win might actually do it.

And Troy plugging 7-Up would fit in nicely if they want to construct a fan favorite edit around him now. Although I remember back in Australia, JERRI was the person who shouted "DO THE DEW!" when presented with Mountain Dew (which I only remember for being immortalized in Amber's "Oh my godddd, it's soooo goood!" compilation on Youtube), so I think the sponsors will just take their product placements wherever they can get them. Outback was just lucky that Sandra loved their steaks AND won!

I was sorry to see jay go but I saw that coming a mile away even if he didn't when he stepped down from the challenge. Stupid boy.

I don't like any of the women and they would be nowhere if the men hadn't fallen apart right away at the merge. Does any of these people ever watch survivor? Obviously the men haven't because they allowed the women to gain the higher ground. Sabrina is the only woman I like but I hope Leif or Troyzan wins.

I wish they WOULD stop casting these models who have NO clue how to play survivor ( Big Brother stopped for the most part a couple years ago) CAST THE REAL FANS SURVIVOR they may not look like Greek gods..but o well!

I think I've worked it out now. When you uploaded a pic, the board uses some weird new tagging system to display them in posts. But if you get the image URL and just encapsulate it with the tags like usual, it should display the pictures/GIFs/etc in the old way:

^^ But that means you can only post full size images from pics with URLs right? You can't upload a pic from your computer anymore and post it that way.

You can if you edit your post quickly enough (although the time limit to edit posts was knocked down from 20 to 5 minutes... ugh!). Attach your upload to get the small version to show up in your post, then click the picture to get the full-screen version, right click and copy the image URL, and then replace the post's contents with the tags with the image's URL embedded.

Definitely a pain compared to the old way to do it :/, but it's still possible.
