Survivor - Fans vs. Favorites

Something I don't understand, what is Corrine's obsessions with gay men? From her confessionals to her exit interviews, she clearly has a soft spot on gay men.

Is she one of those fag hags?? I do appreciate her love and support for gay men but I do hope she's not one of those straight women who only hangs out with gay men because they have an agendas or something.

Corinne in her exit interviews also stated that Brenda didn't really speak and was practically "mute."

Did you listen to her interview with Rob Cesternino? That was hilarious. The best part was when Rob suggested that people want to take Philip to the end so they can beat him and Corinne goes, "So take me instead of Philip. I'm not winning and I'm not annoying."

I didn't even know Brenda was still in the game. She hardly gets any screen time. Poor girl.

corinne played way too hard and fast, i think she was so exicted to have an allaince that was strong, and got ahead of her self, all she needed to do was let everyone vote out sherri or split the votes, and then strike, but its very different out there, just imagine, in 3 day cycles and theres alot of down time, it would be hard to keep things in and such.

dawn is such a tattle tale, i liked her in south pacific, but like corrine said in a day after interview, "she is playing a great 6th place game".

There's been a rumor going around that for the next season, they want to do a tribe of returning players versus a tribe of their loved ones or something completely ridiculous like that. And, well...

You know it's bad when Russell Hantz is more in touch with reality and makes more sense than the people who run this show, JEFF PROBST.

Every time I think they can't possibly come up with an even more awful direction to take this show, they go ahead and prove me wrong. Jesus Christ. How about just scaling back on the returning players and gimmicks, reverting to a Final 2, and reducing the number of idols each season by about a hundred?

They should have a last chance survivor, where it's the last time they will call in the Survivor graduates and after that never have them on any season ever. As much as I like some of the older players (Courtney is funny, Cirie, Amanda, Parvati, etc.) it becomes very redundant when they are invited over and over.

The only returning player season I'd like to see right now is an all-winner season. Sophie, Kim and Denise winning back to back to back ensured that they have enough female winners to do that concept at this point. And it'd be hilarious to watch some UTR likable chick like Ambore or Natalie White make it to the end and win again, causing massive outrage among the casual fans. <3 Or better yet, Sandra somehow wins AGAIN!

^That wouldn't be bad, do they even have enough winners to make a season though? Or they could do a winners vs a runners up tribe =P

They bring in Idols so many times it's ridiculous now. At the same time it's fun when someone takes one out and blind sides everyone at Tribal. Russell in Samoa (the second one he played) and Amanda in Micronesia (I think she was the first girl to ever find one?). The faces people make when its played are epic.

They could now! Kim was the tenth individual woman to win Survivor, and they had ten men a long time ago. At worst they could just do a 16 or 18 person season if a bunch of winners were unavailable/declined.

Men (13) - Richard, Ethan, Brian, Chris, Tom, Aras, Yul, Earl, Todd, Bob, JT, Jud, Rob
Women (11) - Tina, Vecepia, Jenna, Sandra, Amber, Danni, Parvati, Natalie, Sophie, Kim, Denise

Even though some of these people have been kind of overexposed (ROB), I wouldn't mind seeing them in an all-winners season. It would have been more interesting when Jenna and Ethan were still a couple because then there'd be the potential for Jethan vs. Romber (or worse, a couples alliance). It'd be interesting to see how the "dominant" winners (Brian/Tom/Yul/Earl/Kim) would all play against each other, how Hatch/Todd would get along, whether Parvati or Kim would be the alpha female, how far Sandra would get after winning twice, and which of the under the radar women would win the game. All-Stars/returning player seasons almost lend themselves to a woman winning because the men are all targeting each other for being "threats," so I'd bet one of Vecepia, Amber, Danni or Natalie would win.

A winner season would be awesome, at least entertaining

Can we all take a second to stop and revel at the thought of an entire season of Denise doing THIS to 15-19 other people who have already won this game?

I want Courtney to return once more. I don't care how far she gets, as long as she gets a lot of screen time. She's so funny. Some of my funniest survivor moments are her confessionals.

1. When she was talking about Todd telling the entire world his sister lost a baby and Jeff's reaction.

"Todd was going for the Oscar with his performance of 'My sister had a convenient miscarriage', and then of course Jeff was like [does Jeff voice] "Todd, it looks like you just got some bad news, what happened?", and Todd's like [does dramatic voice] "*gasp x 3* my sister... she was pregnant, and she *squeals* she lost the baby *voice goes higher* but it happened for a reason", like is not like the fake Jonny Fairplay 'My Grandma Died', you can almost forgive that, that's funny"

2. When she was talking about Russell having a crush on Parvati

"It's no secret that Russell has a little Boy Crush on Parvati, because he's ... I mean let's face it, he's like a bandy legged little troll, who you know, sort of like, scampers around with his tooth missing, you know ... is in and out of the bushes, and never washes, and she [Parvati] pays attention to him ... and she has like no problem flirting with, clearly anything that walks"

^ Have those memorized =p

Somebody on Youtube has set out to reinsert underedited contestants into the show by splicing in footage from supplementary materials. Since Brenda is clearly the victim of this trend in Caramoan, it's appropriate to start with her, but he also did one for Courtney in HvV (who had the worst edit for a returning player before Brenda):

And here's HvV Jerri just because Jerri's existence is epic:

Can someone explain what happened tonight with Malcolm's vote? I thought his plan was to split the Stealth votes 4-4, and then have 5 votes against Andrea (Malcolm, Eddie, Reynold, Michael and one of Dawn/Sherri)? But instead, it looks like he was voting against Reynold to cover his true alliance, and just have Reynold play the idol so Andrea would get bounced anyway?

Confirm anyone?
