Survivor - Fans vs. Favorites

Win again? He didn't win before (he didn't even make it to the finals).

Sorrry didnt realize I wrote "again".
If Malcolm only saved himself he would have had his alliance down to 2 people. His goal with saving Eddie was to pull in more people to his alliance so the 6-3 can split to 4-5 or something. This was actually his best move.

Saving the other idol would have gotten him past next week, but then he would have been alone after that if Reynold didn't win immunity.

yeah I can see this side of the strategy, but even if he would be alone, he would have 1 idole and multiple possibilities to win challenges.
And even if he was totally on the bottom, and alone he could've pulled sthg coz one day or another the SRus will turn on each other. Being at the bottom isnt necessarily bad. Erinn in tocantins went all the way to F3 being on the outs the entire season. And malcom could've locked Eddie, Reynold and michael vote for the win. We'll see what happens next.

And what about Dawn's edit ?? they're always talking about her previous season, how she got blindised, how she was voted out on day 28 etc...

I could have bought Dawn as having a winning edit until she threw a ridiculous temper tantrum and threatened to remove herself from the game just because she lost her RETAINER. That's the kind of psychotic brush stroke they always avoid when it comes to painting their winners.

I love the AMIGOS brothers
what a memorable tribal council

but Im afraid Malcolm Reynold and Eddie is going to be voted out one by one upcoming weeks :(
I hope Andrea n Erik can join em

Malcolm of course is the biggest chump this season. He had two idols last week. Had he played for himself and not his frat bros he would've let Eddie get the boot last week and kept that extra idol for himself this week. That would at least buy him one more week in the game.

Oh well. Farewell douchebags.

Currently hailing to Andrea for sparing me even more Zany Hidden Immunity Idol Antics from Malcolm by sitting on that stump and watching him for literally hours. Get it gurl.

Also, it's amazing how Phillip leaves and now Erik and Brenda suddenly exist on this show. How unexpected.

Yeah I'd like to say Brenda was hiding under Philip's saggy ass, but that invokes an image too unbearable for me to linger over.

At least the 3 Amigos acknowledged that Cochran was a strategic threat. The Stealth alliance don't seem to recognize that. At all. Dawn was annoying. Yet again.

Damn. Wanted Malcolm to go to the final 3. I have a feeling if both Eddie and Reynolds leave, this show might get a little boring. Especially in the eye candy department.

So that proved our point and how malcom did a strategical mistake last week. Well, I'm actually glad his cocky ass is out of this show.

Brend got an edit, but all she was doin was cryin and complainin over and over... I mean they try to make her look like a fool. Whats the point ? she was problly the only "liked" favorite when the show began and she get no screen time, and the ones she has are full of crap.

Anyway, im curious to see if andrea goes to look for the hidden idol next week coz she sure knows where it is now

So if Cochrane can drag Dawn and Sherri to the end, the win is his?

I don't think it matters. If Cochran continues his current game play, he can beat all the remaining players handily. They're such non-fans of the game they don't recognize it, hence yet another season of frontrunner ownage. Yawn.

Absolutely LOVED every season I've seen so far! I didn't really start until like 2 seasons ago with watching every episode online and since then been on a back-to-back season watching since Season 21. Then I didn't go from season 1 to 2, no, I went from 21 to 20, 20 to 19. I finished 15 this week so now it's 14.

As for this current season, big BUMMER that my man Malcolm got voted out, I absolutely *|* LOVE Andrea!

Malcolm....Noooooooooooooooo! ](*,)

Eyecandy is down to 3. (I'm counting Erik)

Does anyone else find the editing this season maddening, even by recent Survivor standards? I mean yes we've gotten used to them focusing on loons like Philip, Brandon and Dawn at the expense of players like Brenda, but even beyond that, they're now leaving out crucial bits of plot even from the narratives they choose to show.

For example, when Malcolm flipped to the Bros a few weeks ago, he was still pretending to be part of Stealth. But when Corrine got the boot and they returned to camp, there was NO scene in which his ex-alliance members discussed the fact that he had flipped on them.

Secondly, remember two weeks ago when Malcolm got Reynold to give Malcolm his idol at Tribal Council? That was a great move, ostensibly to save his own idol for another go-around, yet again when they returned to camp, there was no discussion among the Bros about that move, nor any explanation from Malcolm why he vote for Reynold (neither to them nor to the viewers), and no discussion about any of this with or among Stealth.

Finally, when Malcolm produced his extra idol last week and gave it to Eddie, shouldn't Reynold have been like, "Hold the fuck up. If you had an extra idol this whole time 1) why am I only now hearing about it and 2) why did you ask me for my idol at TC last week?" Now Reynold and Eddie may be gullible morons that Malcom just sweet-talked his way out of that (I can believe that) but yet again there was no scene where we saw Malcolm doing that, nor any private scene with Malcolm explaining to us why he presumably tried to save his own idol two weeks ago by taking Reynold's idol, but then did a complete 180 and gave his extra idol up to Eddie the following week, nor any private scene from Reynold explaining how he felt about Malcolm taking his idol two weeks ago when he had his own idol the whole time.

This season is just...UGH in terms of plot and motivations. Easily the worst editing I've ever seen on Survivor.

Well there was one great shot in this past episode where Malcolm is lying down, his shirt hiked pec high and his happy trail slipping into hiding in his shorts. Was a delicious moment for me.

I guess the editing serves your viewing priorities joesman. ;)

Not that I'm judging you. I mean, I don't like Reynold at all but I can't say these did nothing for me.

Eddie is the Ryan Lochte of the Three Amigos. But yes, that's quite a rump.
