So who's looking forward to seeing The Iron Lady which opens today?

It's had mixed reviews (good for Meryl Streep, but mediocre for the film generally) and Prime Minister David Cameron has criticised it for having been made too soon, by which he presumably means whilst The Lady is alive.

Yes! I love Meryl Streep. She is the greatest actor, in my opinion, of our time.

I saw her interviewed on 60 Minutes a few weeks ago. She really can do no wrong, well, I'll overlook Mamma Mia.

Saw her flawless performance as Julia Child in Julie and Julia and was amazed.

She was also mesmerizing as a strict nun in Doubt with Seymour Hoffmann, another great actor of our time.

The Devil Wears Prada I've watched on Blu-ray a dozen times now.
"Is there a reason my coffee isn't here, has she died or something?"

I also enjoyed Streep in Angels in America. I didn't realise she was the rabbi until I saw the credits. ;)

Another four star performance trapped in a two star movie.

^ That seems like an unnecessarily spiteful post. I doubt you were even alive when The Lady was Prime Minister.

This movie was overly sad, poorly structured. Meryl Streep was great though.

If you stay after the credits, Tony Stark comes in and recruits her for the avengers
