Lots of things have killed a lot of people. You're going to have to do better than that to convict "bosses" of killing and murdering people. Negligence is not murder, if you can prove willful intent of using their products to incite people to murder and kill people that would be one thing, but lets not absolve people of being responsible for themselves.

The NRA are shutting down production on any more NRA TV garbage. Even before the shit hit the fan there was talk that NRA TV was on shaky ground...so the blow-up between the NRA and Ackerman McQueen is just the bullet in the heart of this shabby excuse for broadcasting.

“Many members expressed concern about the messaging on NRATV becoming too far removed from our core mission: defending the Second Amendment,” Wayne LaPierre, the N.R.A.’s longtime chief executive, wrote in a message to members that was expected to be sent out by Wednesday. “So, after careful consideration, I am announcing that starting today, we are undergoing a significant change in our communications strategy. We are no longer airing ‘live TV’ programming.”

And if the meltdown at the executive and board level doesn't do it....the fractious multi-million dollar lawsuit between the NRA and Ackerman might be just the perfect poison pill.

La Pierre has also been advising Trump AGAINST background checks. If(more likely WHEN) Trump again loses interest in fighting for mandatory background checks, THAT's the reason.

The NRA is also up to its musket deep in with Russia, too... remember Maria Butina, the Kremlin sent femme fatale who hooked her claws into the NRA... which has eagerly grown close to Putin and his allies. They're no longer communists over there... they're corporate crooks and nationalists, who even embrace ultraconservative Christianity in the Russian Orthodox Church, which makes Roman Catholicism look progressive.

And it is safe to say that Trump...who overturned an Obama era order that kept guns out of the hands of the mentally ill....was just employing his favourite tactic of situational lying when he said he was in favour of more background checks....I am sure he immediately let his funders at the NRA know it was just a bullshit lie.

A bit more insight into the high level execution of a long time NRA strategist. It increasingly looks like the NRA is run by la Pierre as his own fiefdom with the prime purpose of enriching him.

It probably is a good thing that they lost their senior political strategist...it might slow them down...unless they just contract out to the Kremlin...which is also quite possible.
