Re: Beyonce

i've gotta say, as much as she bugs me(really i don't hate her...so let's not lose our minds) i thought it was cool how after she took that tumble down the steps during a performance...she just jumped back up like nothing happened and got it done.

That's the robotic brainwashing her father implanted in her.

Oops! Was that too hateful?

Re: Beyonce

no, more like hater. you have to KNOW someone to hate them, otherwise you're hating a fallacy.

PS, it's actually called professionalism. when jessica simpson had to sing at a dolly parton tribute, she didn't get one note out before being overwhelmed and ran offstate crying. beyonce knows her fans aren't paying to see her laying on the floor crying when we ALL know many popstars would've been rushed off the stage in tears. beyonce is a soldier for getting back. this is a lesson some people on this site could use. don't bitch and moan, get up, dust yourself off, and keep it movin.

well said...

totally just had a visual of that scenario....that's hilarious--and actually kinda creepy how true that could be. but i do gotta give it to her again on one thing...that bitch GETS DOWN!!! she's a good performer no question. of course she does overdo it quite a bit though.....;)

New Beyonce album in November

Beyonce's third solo album will be released Nov. 18 via Music World Music/Columbia, and will be preceded Oct. 7 by the radio release of the singles "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies."

Beyonce co-wrote or co-produced all the material, which the label says comprises "her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date." Justin Timberlake will also appear on the as-yet-untitled project, but additional details about his contributions have not been released.

The artists teamed up to cover the Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell classic "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" last Friday at the Fashion Rocks event at New York's Radio City Music Hall.

Producer Jim Jonsin, the man behind Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," has also logged studio time with Beyonce on the track "Beautiful Nightmare," which leaked online earlier this year. It is unknown if the song will make the final track list.

The new album is the follow-up to 2006's "B-Day," which has sold 3.2 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Knowles is also gearing up for two upcoming film projects. She stars as blues legend Etta James in "Cadillac Records," a release date for which has yet to be announced, and as the wife of a stalking target in "Obsessed," due Feb. 27.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

I thought I read a while ago that Timbaland was doing the whole album & it's supposed to have an "international dance sound".....???

Why is she duetting with Justin?? Grr...

Re: New Beyonce album in November

DAYUM! I have to give her praise for her work because it is fantastic, she's got one of the best voices in the biz. However, she crams herself down people's throats professionally since she keeps herself out of the spotlight in her personal life. I guess she doesn't want people to forget her.

AND ALSO: This girl should leave the Etta James character alone, she's ambitious and all but in the whole Deena Jones/Diana Ross character from dreamgirls, I couldn't get passed that it was beyonce, she just isn't THAT good. I want to BELIEVE that it's Etta James.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Re: New Beyonce album in November

And then her own brand of Ipods. And then her own brand of toilet tissue, then her own brand of motor oil.........

So I'm not the only one who noticed she puts her name on every damn product? That girl has a wonderful powerful voice and she should stick to that. I mean...come on, Pepsi, McDonalds, Cell-phones(That B-Phone thing), Cosmetics, perfumes...How long till it's considered selling out?

Re: New Beyonce album in November

^^^True I am first, second, & third to admit if she wasn't around the music scene would be very boring...I need new Beyonce music.

Yes we'd better stop talking shit, because she'll have Daddy Knowles, Mr. Carter AND Solange on our ass!

Seriously, though....when is the Beyonce Biopic gonna happen??? Soon I hope!!

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Hopefully it's a lot better than that mess of an album B'Day. Were it not for Irreplaceable, that whole thing would've flopped.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Her last album was horrible. It was released in 2006.

Justin = Timbaland.

I'm looking forward to this one.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Are yall crazy? b-day was so good! I loved it! Ring the Alarm......Freakum dress......Deja Vu..... I love it hell i still listen to it almost every damn day!

Re: New Beyonce album in November

I can't wait, now that I will be in the US on Sep. 18th, I will probably get this album as soon as it is released.

P.S. I hope she would release a full album directly, deluxe editions really kill.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Wikipedia offers a little more information, but it's not official of course.

Queen B! is the third studio album by the R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. She will be collaborating with Timbaland who will produce most of the songs on the album; Rodney Jerkins, The Neptunes, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West and Christopher Stewart is expected to produce a few songs from the album. She recorded a Billy Joel song entitled "Honesty". "Beautiful Nightmare (Sweet Dream)" will be a bonus track on this album. Knowles also said she wants the mood of the album to be dark. There was a rumor that the first single will be released sometime in September though that date has already been cancelled. The first single "If I Were a Boy" will feature Kanye West & Pharrell Williams. The second single "Single Ladies" will impact the radio the same day as the first, October 7th. This will be Beyoncé's most personal album to date.

It is also reported that Beyoncé will shoot a music video for "If I Were A Boy" with Director Jake Nava - a the director of successful "Beautiful Liar".

It is not stated whether the album will contain Beyoncé's recording for Cadillac Records, entitled "At Last".

[edit] Possible track

1. "If I Were a Boy"
2. "Single Ladies"
3. "Beautiful Nightmare (Sweet Dream)" (bonus track)

Re: New Beyonce album in November

Looking forward to this. I actually really liked B'day. DIL was a very average r&b/pop album, but she took risks on B'day and prooved she's better than any other r&b chick in the game and that she can be pop.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

I liked every song on B Day, and it's rare for me to like every song on an album. Hell, nowadays, if I like 3 or 4 songs on any given album, I consider that a success, lol.

I think she should have never have said how long it took her to make B Day. I think a lot of people listened to it already prejudging that she finished it too quickly.

Re: New Beyonce album in November

I dunno whats all the hate with B'Day. Sure it feels rushed and all (and it was) but it was a fun record, much more than Dangerously in Love. Out of the first album there's a few songs I still play and like nowadays but out of B'Day I love pretty much the whole thing. It's just fun and thats all it needs to be.

I do agree that B is doing a lot more than we need, but as a pop star I guess its expected. Whatever brings u money, wouldnt u take it? I know I would. I'd love to see what coming out next. If its anything like Beautiful Nightmare, then Im all for it :)

I do agree though that I dont like her acting.
