I admit that is a pretty ugly scene with Josh talking to Ryan and Adam. Just proves that no one sees themselves as others see them, and one's illusion of oneself can be pretty far flung from the real you. I think that is true of just about everyone. But the thing that Josh says that bothers me the most is the put down of other gays. I think gay people can be as diverse and different as any group of people.

Truth be told, a lot of the freedoms that gays have to this point is because of a bunch of angry queens at the Stonewall that said they had had enough and were not going to take it anymore. So it is a pretty hard thing to forgive someone who ruts their own. Josh has a lot to learn about himself, about life and about rampant ego. Just talking shit with the boys and thinking you are one of them probably leaves them sniggering and talking about you behind your back.

It also annoyed me with Ryan and Adam, especially Ryan, leading him into his 'dudeness'. As he does that Adam the goofy geek is a face full of smile and 'oh yeah' snot. None of it sat well with me.

I thought about it and Josh has it pretty damn good right now. He has a secret deal with Ryan and Adam where if he has to he'll snap in an instant, he has Sheila shaking so she won't dare go after him, and he's backed by Sharon, James, and Chelsea even though Chelsea's going home now. The only one would would actually take him down is Natalie, but she's targeting James before Josh.

I think Josh is going to make it to the final four. :(

I told you he and Sharon are playing the best game. Josh seemed to combine the Dick and Dr. Will playbooks. He'll be fine as long as he doesn't win and if it's a position where he has to win (ie him and Nat at the end of HOH) he can still always put up Nat and Sheila.

It's as if everyone in the world is expected to have the thinnest skin imaginable and talk around eggshells.
