What did y'all think of NBC's new singing competition, "The Voice"? I for one really enjoyed it!

After tonight's ep I think Adam and Blake have the strongest teams...and Cee-Lo has the weakest team(I only liked that Kelsey girl on his team)

also...side note...I would let Adam Levine do such nasty, dirty things to me it's not even funny...and if Blake Shelton wanted to jump in...I wouldn't be mad at it=)

Re: The Voice

I really enjoyed it. There's some great talent there. The only issue I have is that it seemed when the coaches wanted to push the button they all would look at each other. I say if you like what you hear just push the button and turn around. Also it seemed that the camera was on Christina's ta-tas alot :D

Re: The Voice

I wasn't too impressed by the singers; they didn't stand out much from any third-rate American Idol finalist IMO. The judges competing against each other and not being able to see their picks during the performances are the show's only decent angles IMO, and one of those will be gone already after next week's show.

I don't know if it'll ever air in Australia but I wanna catch it.

And I agree - Adam Levine could do anything he wanted to me... Blake Shelton too.

:D

Re: The Voice

I'm going to watch it today.

I hope I'm not wasting my time...last week NBC cancelled a show after only 2 episodes.

Re: The Voice

I thought it was kind of entertaining. I fast forwarded through all of the contestant's background pieces. But enjoyed the judges' interaction, and some performances. Surprised that Frenchy is back.

Re: The Voice

I found it boring to the max until Frenchie showed up and my ears perked up, but then flopped back down. I hate the format.

Re: The Voice

When the show kick start with a performance of 'crazy' I was like whoa- this is interesting. Definitely not what I expected.

It's definitely a change from the usual idol format. And the moment when a coach turns his/her chair around is always amazing to me- so I can't imagine what the contestants would feel.

Definitely some raw talent there, my favourites are xenia, vicci and that javier dude. So much rawness in their voices it's unreal.

I think Christina's got the weakest team by far.

And Adam, he's got to take of his clothes in at least one of the show, you guys agree?

Re: The Voice

I'll follow it. Just a nice change from Idol and it benefits from feeling current (whereas Idol feels like a throwback to late 70's/early 80's TV). The judges are cool.

Re: The Voice

I'm watching it right now and I like the show. The standouts for me so far are Jeff, Patrick, Tarralyn (sp?) and Frenchie.

Re: The Voice

Check out Javier Colon when he was just known as Javier:

Re: The Voice

Javier Colon and this chick were my favorites (Adam Levine clearly has the best team thus far).

Re: The Voice

I love the Voice, I started another thread last week about one of the contestants, Patrick.

To me, the Voice is so much a more a positive show where people aren't being tore down like they do on Idol. From the very beginning of Idol, I never liked the concept of putting people on TV with absolutely no talent just so you could laugh at them.

I really get a kick out of the judges and how they have fun with each other. I'm really not a fan of any of their work, but I think they're great together.

Re: The Voice - Crazy (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levin & Blake)

:dddddddddddddd

Re: The Voice - Crazy (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levin & Blake) [MERGED]

I personally find it much better than the American Idol format. I honestly only started to watch it because I have a pretty big celeb crush on Adam. It will get interesting after they all pick their 8 and see where the show goes from there.

I was kinda shocked to see Dia Frampton on tonight's episode...I absolutely love her and her sister's music (Meg & Dia)...don't really understand considering they just released an album a few months ago...but oh well I guess she knows better than me=)

one of my fav songs from them

really looking forward to Sia being on the show...I find her so quirky and funny and absolutely adore her music

Re: The Voice - Crazy (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levin & Blake) [MERGED]

I hope that they continue to do songs that are primarily from this century. It's really refreshing!!

Re: The Voice - Crazy (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levin & Blake) [MERGED]

I love the show and Cee Lo is my favorite judge thus far. I love many of the singers on this show. However, after seeing some of U guys and girls post, am shocked that some of the contestant had singing careers in the past

Oh Diamondstar, U are so out of the loop.

Also...Raquel Castro...the 16 y/o that performed last night and is on Christina's team was the little girl that played Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's daughter in "Jersey Girl"
