"live up to"? She doesn't have to live up to her own standards. SHE'S the one who set them. Every other female artist follows in her footsteps.

And her last award was in 2004. She's been idle for last several years, battling a drug addiction, in rehab a couple times and fighting to stay alive and healthy, not worrying about putting out records and getting another award. ..|

Oh gawd, how did this turn into a Whitney vs Mariah?? They are both super talented legendary Divas. And really, Whitney Houston is looking years better, she looks great, healthy, and like she's getting her life back on the right track from the wreck that she used to be. For some people, of course, it's clearly a call to action to trash her, but for others, it's a perfectly good reason to be happy for her and wish her well.
