The Simpsons

It is not must watch Tv for me like it used to be. They just seem to be going through the motions to earn the pay check from FOX. For the past several seasons they don't seem to know how to write an ending for the show. The story line will be pretty good but they don't know how to wrap up the episode.
 
They have been renewed for two more seasons that will make it the longest running television series in history.

I think it is still fresh and timely. The writers have a good time. Incredible that Bart never aged though this all.

Yep, I still watch and I am still a fan. It's not must-see-tv, but a half hour I rarely feel lost having watched it.
 
Oh yeah, still love the show. One of the very few TV shows I have to watch (along with 30 Rock). The Simpsons will always rule!

Not that my humor hasn't matured mind you. But it's like the writers are no longer trying with the show - instead opting to bump up the graphics and make it look prettier.

I have to agree with this statement. The new episode from about the past three, maybe four seasons, have not been up to par with the previous years. I used to laugh extremely hard, but the quality of material seems to have declined. If anything, I'm probably watching out of habit as I've watched the series for so long.

The graphics and animation is better though, so that counts for something.
 
I am a big fan of show, I've been watching since I was six..I have all the seasons that are available on DVD. The quality of the show has changed, I wouldn't say in bad way but it had a different tone, but I think that's expected after 20 seasons. I'm glad to hear it's going for another two seasons would be nice if they ended it with 25 seasons...I think the show would be a little better if they knew they were heading for the end. I do like the tweaks they made to the opening credits and the animation this season is stellar.
