Do we have any fellow Simpson fans here?

Big fan here. :D

Really? Family Guy and American Dad are funny, but not better than The Simpsons in my opinion.

LOVE The Simpsons!! They may not be as good as it was, it is still better than The Family Guy, which is stupid funny. I can't believe I've been watching The Simpsons almost my whole life. lol

I'd have to agree whilst The Simpons is not as good as it once was it is still way better than American Dad or Family guy, while i'm here can i just welcome TheOscar to TheSite.

Better than Family Guy? U ARE INSANE. The Simpsons style and humor is old and done. I bet their numbers have plunged in the last few years.

Neither The Simpson or Family Guy are as good as when they first started. That being said, I prefer watching Family Guy. However Bob's Burgers blows them both out of the water. It is the best of Fox's Sunday night line up. And if your looking for the best animated show on the air right now, it is Archer on FX.

Have not seen Bob's Burgers. I think their going to cancel Archer pretty soon, the humor is drying up. I use to really like Aqua Teen Hunger and Venture Brothers.

Haha, thanks for TheWelcome! :D

I really want to see Archer. I've heard good things about. oh, and, I saw Bob's Burgers and it was not as cool. The first two episodes were good and then it just kind of got lame.

The Simpson's numbers may be going down, but that's because the generations that grew up with it are, well, growing up....And it's harder to get the younger people to start watching it, too.

I don't watch it as frequently as I have in the past but I'm definitely a fan :D

How does Futurama fit in with all that?

Futurama has more characters and covers more things. It's not just one family

Im a big Simpsons fan, however I've recently been watching through them and not finding them to be very funny at all, I think that nostalgia plays a heavy hand in my fandom. I do love american dad though, family guy not so much.

I still like The Simpsons, but I don't think it's as good as it once was.

As for it's ratings...If you're on FOX and you're not American Idol, Bones or Gordan Ramsey then you don't have good ratings.

Even,Though It's a shell of it's former self I watch every new episode.King of the Hill and The Critic are my favorite FOX Sunday toons ever though.Bob's Burgers is pretty hilarious also.I'm done with Seth Mcfarlane.

The critic. wow.. Does that show still get air time?

I've all but stopped watching The Simpsons, though if I could find it in syndication i'd watch the older stuff every day.

Of the cartoons mentioned, I watch Archer when I can and American Dad nearly any chance I get(don't see how anyone can say that one is bad - it's actually gotten better with age, unlike Family Guy and The Simpsons).

I've been watching The Simpsons for a long time. Although I admit that the newer episodes aren't as fresh and entertaining, but always worth watching. Also I think they did a GREAT job with The Simpsons Movie

I LOVED the Simpsons Movie. :gogirl: I agree that the show's 'freshness' is down from what it was, but the movie proved the show's production team still has it. My favorite moment was them managing to make Homer and Marge's one hundred thousandth break-up into something touching that seemed actually significant. And then the black screen with the 'to be continued - right now' message on it. I must have laughed for about five minutes. :=D:
