The use of the "trolling" argument

^Ben, how exactly are you furthering the discussion by calling Croynan a bunch of names? That's the type of argument I'd expect to hear on the playground, not from a grown adult. This isn't the first time either...you really seem to dislike the man. Why is that exactly? Also, what is the difference btwn calling someone a troll versus throwing some other insult at them? After all at the end of the day, an ass is an ass, an insult is an insult. I thought you wanted us all to have a real meeting of the minds.
 
Could someone quote my long post? I think BenF46 has me Ignored, and my post is not at all what he'd expect me to say. At least I don't think so.

Croynan is usually quite capable of speaking for himself. While I don't always agree with what he's saying, I wouldn't put words in his mouth, and I don't think anyone else should either.

And while I'm sure you're capable of speaking on someone's behalf - anyone is - out of common courtesy you shouldn't do so uninvited. What are you, an official spokesman?

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is Rareboy's usual escape strategy; he realises he is on the back foot and excuses himself from the thread by saying it is either off-topic or beneath him. It's quite laughable really.
