I never had this stuff. I guess my mother loved me enough that she avoided buying this sort of thing. Although she did use that packaged spaghetti seasoning, so I guess she only had so much love for me.

I think that SpaghettiOs--along with products like Hamburger Helper, which my mother also never bothered with--seemed a bit exotic...

Although--for those who grew up with this stuff--trying it now might not make "rethinking childhood" entirely valid. I only theorize here, but given the decline of quality so many products, it seems likely that the canned pasta product of today isn't what it was 40+ years ago.

Where are we going with this? It's as gross as it sounds or surprisingly you can't tell the difference between this and grandma's spaghetti?
