I had a rubbish start to the week. I had to go to a tedious conference and listen to people teaching me to suck eggs.

Thanks. My mum has a cold and should hopefully shake it off in a few days. I can take her to lunch next weekend maybe.
 
That's not too bad then. A week sounds about right, and hopefully, next weekend you will be able to give her a big treat when you take her out.
