Starting to look better and better, really loved watchmen when I read it, hope they do it justice on the big screen.
 
Kevin Smith saw an early screening and said it's really good. You can't argue with him, can you?

I like the Dr. Manhattan poster, naturally.
 
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Malin Akerman, two of the stars of director Zack Snyder's much-anticipated Watchmen movie, told SCI FI Wire that the film will distill a complex story and that it does the original graphic novel justice.

Morgan and Akerman were on hand to unveil new footage at Spike TV's Third Annual Scream Awards on Oct. 18 in Hollywood, at which Watchmen was named the Most Anticipated Film of the Year. (The ceremony and footage will air on Spike on Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.)

"It is a pretty heavy piece of literature, [but] Zack is such a visual director, ... well, believe me: It's a heavy movie, too," Morgan said in an interview on the red carpet. "But the way he shoots, I believe it's going to be accessible to people who couldn't quite sit through that novel."

im not a huge comic book fan or comic books made into movies fan but im excited about this, i think it looks interesting
 
I got the graphic novel for christmas and just started reading it. So far it's pretty awesome but I'm not far at all.

I too read a few things Kevin Smith said though; that it blew him away more than Sin City in terms of how good it was and how accurate to the graphic novel it is. I think he said the ending is different because the graphic novel is known for having a disappoint ending apparently?

Either way the trailer looks awesome and I can't wait to finish the graphic novel so I can see it brought to life in the theater
 
I read a copy of the script and now am starting the graphic novel. It is a phenomenal story. I can't wait for the movie.
 
I saw the Watchmen trailer a few months ago and was mesmerized. So I did some research and I found out there was a book. So I like Superheroes and everything, I've liked the movies and heck I even play an MMORPG called City of Heroes/City of Villains. But I hate comic books... And stupid me I didn't know that "graphic novel" meant "comic book". I thought it was like some rating system I've never heard of, like a rated R book. So that just made me more excited. Boy was I disappointed when it arrived...

It still looks amazing though, the movie I mean. I'll definitely be going to see it.
