Well, I'm Back... And With BIG News...

So, if you've been wondering where I've been... Well, that's a long story. The short version is that I've been dealing with a very complicated pregnancy which recently culminated in the birth of my new daughter!

I got very sick (pregnancy-induced hypertension, among a slew of other complications) and was on bed rest for a long time, and in the hospital for over a month. I held out for as long as I could to give her a better chance of being healthy. And it worked, because despite being born six weeks prematurely, she was only in the neonatal intensive care unit for 13 days. She's now home with us and has no health problems at all. She's still only four pounds nine ounces, but she's a fighter!

For me what is more wonderful is that you have returned to JUB and we can expect to see you joining in again. Many have missed you.

She is beautiful. Congradulations. Ah, the joys of having a daughter. Mine is turning 17 next week. It goes by so fast. Hugs and kisses to the bundle of joy, and to you also.
