Getting ready to read tired at some gathering I am not looking forward to being a secular reader and all. Also, I think the candy and all the pinatas may have melted.
 
Cleaning up a mess. I went out to BK got a burger, fries and a large coke. I was really looking forward to the coke, I haven’t had a sugary drink in months. One of the cats (I’m looking at you Apollo) knocked it completely off the table before I even got a sip out of it
 
Thinking of peaches... I now remember a produce market where I used to shop. They had amazing peaches. A bit more expensive than the grocery store; however, the quality was so much better. Alas, that produce market is now out of business. :cry:
 
It's my Birthday today.

I was invited out but have chosen to stay home by myself.

I have a large pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni coming later and I picked myself up a Carvel ice cream cake.
 
The sheets on the bed needed changing. Oh, sheet! :lol:

So today was sheet laundry day. Just brought the sheets in from the line. There is an interesting mix of Tide scent and air dried scent. In past summers, I'd get something unscented All for line drying, so there would only be the air dried scent, but All recently has been inexplicably more expensive than Tide at my usual store.
 
Espresso... was so hung yesterday night, I was hung over.

Took two Lion's Mane pills to grow my brain back.

The milk-thistle supplement I bought as well, I could not find.
 
Had to put on the bee suit to mow around the hives today, althoughn they seem to be a lot more settled than they were yesterday when I got stung about 5 times....the humid overcast weather and changing winds can get them all excited, although I see the beekeepers were also in so probably they were still fussy about that too.

Just the orchards left to mow now and then back into the cool house.

The deer flies are also biting today so I am wondering if we finally will be getting a storm later.
 
Feeling sexually frustrated recently... I've never had any sexual experience involving another human, and it seems unlikely that will change any time soon, if ever. I'm not marketable for a relationship, and--having grown up during the AIDS crisis of the 80s--I don't see myself ever able to do a hookup (not that I have any way of getting one of those, either...). Intellectually, I realize it is what it is. But there are times when my hormones don't accept that intellectual reality, and I'm going through one of those times now...

Hopefully, in a week or two, the hormones will settle...and I'll be OK with a sex life that will forever be limited to Mr. Palm and His Five Brothers.

Had a nice read and nap today because the rain ruined my plans out in the garden.

But looking forward to the return of my doc from vacation tomorrow...not feeling well today.
