Sometimes the ringing is the result of inadequate blood/oxygen
to the brain. Flus and colds can do that. To shake the bug or
a cold, I eat lemons and grapefruit. Just peel and eat.

Sometimes Sleepytime tea and a drizzle of honey will help to
let you nod off. Careful, the crud going around can turn to
pneumonia and that sucks.

How do you people put up with the effing traffic?
 
i've tried all that. and unfortunately most of them haven't worked. the deep breath has actually made me ears worse. i haven't really taken any proper medicine for it, so hopefully when i have an off day i can go to the pharmacy and look for something adequate. on a positive side not, i've begun to enjoy taking NyQuil.

as for the traffic, i don't deal with it, lol. i don't have a car so whenever i drive out to the LA area i usually use different sorts of public transportation to get around.
 
The breathing usually works for me. As to the NYQUIL...it won't touch your flu, just put you down...
two shots of tequila and a lemon will do that w/o the sugar. Seriously on the pharmacy thing....
ask them for recommendations, They are usually actually better than the Dr's office.

We were in Hollywood, 1/2 block from the bowl...took almost 1 hr of mostly freeway to go to the
Nokia...12 miles at 7pm on a Sat. The cabby and one of our party were discussing alternate rtes and
