I'm not sure what you are asking? Is there a hidden meaning, that I'm missing? Or is this a trick question? Or is this a quiz? Give me a hint.

It looks like you are new to JUB. Welcome!

Well, you have me beat, English is my only language. In America, we don't hear much about Poland, these days. I'm old enough, to remember the fall of communism. I know Pope John Paul II was from there. And it seems most people are Catholic.

It might be easier for you to tell us about yourself and your country. Do you live in a small town or a big city? What is gay life like for you? What about the politics of Poland, these days? Is it safe to be out as a gay person? What would you want Americans to know about yourself and your country? ..| :D

Now that we have decided that Pluto does not measure up as a planet, I suppose that we really should consider the status of Poland.

I know a little about Poland. I have two friends who are from Warsaw. It is sort of funny but they have the same first name and they are boyfriends, Przemyslaw. They have told me about the city and the damaged during the war. I also have some pictures that they sent to me

I can also tell you that both of them are just cute as a button, very nice and very intelligent guys. They are so much fun to be around.

From what we hear in Europe, Poland is a very conservative not to say retrograde country. The governement is church dominated and the "twins" who lead Poland now could have a seat next to Hitler and Jean Marie Le Pen.
Here I risk that my american friends ask who (Hitler maybe not) but JM Le Pen is.
He is the right wing activist who succeeded in coming second in the last election for President in France.
For us Poland in a country with no freedom, divorce is difficult if allowed, abortion prohibited, and gays just tolerated because the E.U. says so, and Poland profit too much from the E.U. to say bugger... For the last Gay Pride, it is only because european MP were there than there was nos bloodbath.
Which just shows that religious fanatics are not only moslems.... the catholic church has more than its fair share of extremists.

I have nothing to add.... Concerning politics a short, but good summery.
But Hitler??? No. Between Le Pen, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Bush is ok.

On the other hand: I like Polish people the way a lot of them are... friendly and charming as long as they do not perceive you as gay...

A nice country to travel. I love Krakau, Danzig or Zielona Gora and surroundings etc........

The people are creative, diligent and hard working. There are still a lot of problems both in industry, agriculture and service, but it is amazing to see what a big step Poland went after the fall of the iron curtain...

What's more: I neeeeed Poland!!!!! Otherwise I had to give up smoking.
GER: 1 Pack (18 cigarettes) = 3,80 € < > POL Pack (20 cigarettes) = 1,80 €.
And I love their steaks and Krakauer sausages. BIGOS is delicious! ;)

Enough! It's a political forum.

yes im new and my eanglish is not well:)

iteresting my different information: politics, culture....
why ask ? because I want to dispel sb's doubts about this state. I think people who dont live that cauntry have many wrong opinion about peple live here.

I don't understand.... I haven't had doubts?

well i'm from germany, so as you might probably now lately we hear very much from poland. i'm sorry to say that like that, but i really can't stand your new goverment at all. but i guess you are on the same side with me.
it is a shame what's going on at the moment concerning gay rights and many other things. i'm glad that berlin is so close to the border, that so many of their big gay community travel over there to support your protests, and that this creates some international headlines on the happenings. but it seems that this isn't enough.
but as i heard some resistance is growing in poland now, too. i guess making his brother his second was a bit too much for some conserative polish people, too ;)
