Riding on the coattails of a similar thread. What movie(s) do you think should be made.

I would like to see 'Justice Leauge' the motion picture. We've had Batman and Superman movies, why not the whole gang? I have a feeling it would have to be to high budget to pay all the actors.

I would also like to see a movie about the life story of Queen or Freddie Mercury to be more exact.

Forgive me I'm a Star Trek fan. I want to see a motion picture of the starship Voyager and crew.

I hope they continue with the series to follow 'Narnia'.

Watchmen!! The best graphic novel of all time!! It might have been too expensive a movie back in the day (the 90's) but they can do it easily now! I still have my old copy and re-read it recently...it's soooo good.

Would love to see Justice League too...really any DC franchise would be great.

I like all the suggestions so far, but what about Lobo???Tell me a decent movie about the MAIN MAN wouldn't be great. Casting the part might be a problem....but I still think it would be real cool.

"Watchmen" is in pre-prod... Zack Snyder will direct the movie... after "Dawn of the Dead" and "300", that could be good, actually....

As far as I'm concerned, I want to see "Fondation"... a HUGE 10 or 20 hours space opera... supposedly directed by JJ Annaud, but he did something else... Pfffff.... frenchies are soooooo lazy....

Lobo...I'm just sick of Marvel characters...it's time for DC to shine...

..and Darren Arfonsky is directing Watchmen according to that website Coco...I think anyway...my high school french is a little rusty so I'm probably wrong...but he's an awesome director...

Nope... Darren Aronofsky was supposed to direct the movie when they wrote this new in july 2004... Now it's Zack Snyder ("Réalisé par :...")... still they change again...

... Did somebody heard good things about "The Fountain" (directed by Darren Aronofsky )?... or "Knowing" (directed by Alex Proyas) ?

I can't wait for these ones...

You are one funny, crazy (and I mean that), guy Peto...you think people will flock to The Great Hollywood Broadway Movies...you definitely don't get Americans...or most of the rest of the world.

Nothing to apologize for. A Voyager movie could be fun. I'd also like to see a Starfleet Academy movie or series.Just leave Rick Berman out of it.

So many of Robert Heinlein's books.

Stranger in a Strange Land.

Door Into Summer.

Time Enough for Love.

Well check your records........ they have lost big money on blockbusters in the last 3 years........ this year will tell the tale. If they lose big again, the big money is going to be very hard to come by for future blockbusters. They can't keep losing hundreds of millions year after year. Last summer was one of the worst ever for Hollywood!

... one of the worst because the movies were the worst ever... 2005 will stay for me my "cinema annus horribilis" (yes, sometimes, I talk like a queen...)... I can't remember another year when I went so few to theatres....

2006 should be better... a lot of good movies the first 6 months, and I heard the box office was better too.... OMG !!!! is it possible these two things could be connected ???

I have enjoyed the Final Fantasy game series, and I think it would be interesting to have a movie based on one of the games. Now I know you may be thinking that they have 2 movies out there, but I would like to see one done with HUMAN characters, that would be cool instead of the animated.

As Stephen Spielberg said on receining the Thalberg Award, "we have to get back to the basic word."

There have been a lot of big budget movies flop right into a flophouse. If this summer's b.busters don't generate the big bucks Hollywood is in big shit. It will be the third year in a row of losing heavily, BIG, BIG MONEY. Example: X men II lost big time.

X2 definately didn't lose big time. It garnered 408 million dollars (US) and the cost was 110 million (US) plus PR.

As for movies that 'should' be made... anything not an adaptation and creative should be fun and different nowadays. But as for adaptations, I agree.. 'Doubt' should be good on film (and the upcoming 'The History Boys' should be a hoot as well). Also, would love to see someone adapt 'Barefoot In The Park' again- seems like it'd be fun again. On the TV front, 'My Name Is Earl''s original premise sounded more like a film plot than an actual series.

PLEASE!! Make a real-life Legend of Zelda "quad-logy" (instead of tri-logy)

Link - Leonardo DiCaprio?
Zelda - Drew Barrymore?
Ganon - Al Pachino?
Impa - Geena Davis?
Nabooru - Uma Thurman
Ruto - Cameron Diaz?

Live action versions of:

Akira
Perfect Blue
Street Fighter ALPHA (Not the shitty Van Damned vehicle)

Come on !!!.... the animated movies are perfect !!!... why should they make live action versions ????...

... and Buffy ?... the serie was great too, and so was Angel, but why a movie ????... if you're looking for a sequel, watch Supernatural !

Why, Wonder Woman of course! Its time for her to dust off her silver bracelets, grab her lasso and get to work!!! I would also like to see a Teen Titans movie based on the early 80's comic version which had Marv Wolfman as writer and the fantastic George Perez as penciller.:D :D

I would like to see more DC movies like Green Lantern, the Flash, Teen Titans or JLA. Marvel's pumping out tons of superhero movies. Even no-names like Ghost Rider and Elektra.

Which puzzles me since the DC Corporation is attached to the hip of Warner-Brothers Studios. Making a movie shouldn't be that hard for them. I suppose they just don't want to.
