What useful thing did you do today?

I hauled a pile of metal off to some friends who depend on metal recycling to make ends meet.

I cleaned out my closet

I chaired a meeting and made it last all morning.

I did my laundry, cleaned up my room, and did my workout/walk so now I feel good.

I did another load of laundry and now cooking dinner

Two hours ago I spent an hour on the phone with a woman friend in Albuquerque. A very long-time friend of mine (who I first met because he was a customer, and continued to be) died last week. I only met her for the first time last year when I was in Albuquerque, and we had some wonderful conversations. My friend Dale was the love of her life, and I think that I was very effective at consoling Carol tonight.

I did some needed grocery shopping and bought some stock-up items

redid the wiring on my little cargo trailer

I awoke, found that my heart was still beating and I was breathing

I spent the day at work, but I'd be hard pressed to think of anything I did which could be described as useful.

went to land P T for my first time

fixed the roof on my home-made truck canopy

Did all of my laundry, cleaned up my room, and cooked some stuff for dinner/dessert.

Now finishing up my walk.. typing this from my phone.

did all the chemicals to the hot tub

last night's washing-up.

I cleared out everything on yard, deck and patio and put them away for the coming winter. The only thing left is one hose, which I will store in the cellar later on.

I also have the front of the house ready for the trick or treaters tomorrow night

worked on going through the 700 football pictures I took of my nephew in his last game.
